Chapitre 358: The Godslayer Descends Final Part: The Victor
(General POV)
Location the Warhammer Old World-Norsca, the Lands of Vargs/The Golden Monolith Battlefield; Dark Legion Vs Forces of Chaos
The Godslayer holding onto his opponent as he ascended higher and higher to the sky.
He wad hoping to kill Ixion/Warp Gods using extreme height to toss them to their death, after everything he has done and wrought to Ixion this was the Daemon Prince's final option of victory, which is to destroy his body.
As they kept on climbing higher, the Warp Gods were quickly thinking of a way to survive and win in this grave situation.
That's when Tzeentch the God of a Thousand and One Schemes, came up with a great ploy against Yuri.
Once they've heard the Great Schemer's plan, even Khorne who loathes schemes and magic had to admit it was a ingenious plan and gave his youngest brother, his support along with the Dark Harbinger and the Maggotking.
Under Tzeentch's guide they...except Khorne...started gathering magical energy, and bending the Winds of Magic from the Lore of Lightning to cause a thunderstorm to form around them, this made things extremely dangerous and difficult for Yuri as bolts of lightning surged and danced through cloud, doing his best to avoid being struck by one of the lightningbolts, while also keeping his grip around Ixion, he'd failed to noticed it was their doing.
In truth they were preparing the new lightning spell created by a Lord of Change during the Anathema's invasion to Tzeentch's domain, this is the [Bolt of Suffering] that they're preparing to use against the Godslayer.
Yuri still avoiding the bolts of lightning, surging all around him when he started to feel a surge of static on his body, when he looked down he saw a coating of lightning blue electricity, that coated and sparked off them.
Then a pulse of magical electricity that electrocuted and forced Yuri to release his hold on them, he flew a bit away from them as he saw that all the lightningbolts started striking Ixion/Warp Gods further powering the incoming spell as they burst in electricity and as they spread the arms of Ixion and started manifesting several spheres of blue magical lightning.
Six spheres in total surrounding Ixion/Warp Gods, again another spell from a new lore that Yuri had absolutely no knowledge about.
Before the Daemon Prince could escape, the Warp Gods...minus Khorne...have unleashed the spell of [Bolts of Suffering] at Yuri Godslayer.
Those spheres of magical lightning, quickly surrounded Yuri in a ring with him in the center, and at that moment a lightningbolt struck one of the sphere and made a lightning chain-link that surge with power and electrical current that shock the Daemon Prince with countless bolts of agonizing electricity.
Yuri couldn't even scream as the lightning surge throughout his daemonic form, all the while Ixion/Warp Gods watched as Yuri was at their mercy and using Tzeentch's incredible psychic might to kept them levitating until the spell run out, and after a long tormentous moment...and the Blue Scribes scribing this latest spell they've witnessed...the sphere faded away along with releasing the Daemon Prince.
Yuri still stunned and in pain was not able to fly at the moment...so he started to fall, and the Warp Gods went after him, diving straight at their target as he was unable to do anything.
In a few moments they'd catch up to the Godslayer and using a bit more power that usual through Ixion, they grabbed him by the throat which has slightly reawaken Yuri, but it was the flurry of punches surging with their combined dark powers, that knocked him back into consciousness through pain.
Coughing, gasping, and grunting from the pain of every punch that Ixion was throwing at his chest, he tried to move or counter his opponent, but he realized that he couldn't move is was like his body was paralyzed and that also meant he couldn't fly to stop their fall!!
Struggling to speak through the pain and flurry of blows that Ixion was delivering to him, he managed to say throught the grunts, "You...guh!!! Fool!! Release...ahh!!! Me or we both...we both...will die!!!" Ixion/Warp Gods stopped punching for a moment and looked at the eyes of Yuri.
They said to him, "Surrender and we'll save you. Refuse and suffer an unimaginable death!!" Yuri look at the Chosen of the Gods as they were insane!!!
They've seriously threatened to let them both perish, unless he admits defeat!?
Utter craziness, as they started to pummel and whail on him again.
Closer and closer the ground was becoming for them, until they've finally passed through the cloud cover and all could see them falling towards the snow covered earth.
As death was closing in, Yuri tried once again to reason with his opponent but they just repeated their demands of his surrender or they crash.
All the while the Warp Gods kept on beating the daemon prince, they could sense the Godslayer's growing worries, and fears especially the God of Terror himself, Laharl.
This was all going to Tzeentch's plan, to force their adversary into basically a lose, lose situation, either he surrenders and lives under their rule, or perish and return as as a failure to the Realm of Chaos, since he was already in thick waters with their weaker counterparts for failing to deliver a grand victory for Chaos, with Ursun death and Kislev falling to them.
But now he was in their grasp in every possible way, regardless the outcome this was their victory, as they kept attacking him and falling to the earth, Yuri eventually seeing the earth fast approaching Yuri grunted in frustration as he yelled out, "FINE!!! I CONCEDE!!!!"
Hearing this made the Warp Gods smile, for they were victorious using their strength to place the Daemon Prince over Ixion's right shoulder, as Tzeentch started to focus his psychic power through them, and with a thrust of their avatar's left hand out towards the ground, the Changer blasted a psychic push.
The telekinetic blast, pushed away a massive amount of snow and stopped their fall, as they slowly and smoothly started to land.
After a few moments both Ixion and Yuri still unable to move and laying limply over the Chosen of the Gods' right shoulder, all they did was rise their left fist as a sign of triumph!!!
The Dark Legion saw their Lord, rise his fist and they cheered as well as screamed in revelry for it was a clear sign, the winner of the duel was their lord, Ixion Daemonhart!!!
Since the Forces of Chaos, saw that their Daemon Prince and Lord was barely alive and at the mercy of the Chaos Lord, Ixion, they kneeled in reverence and surrender, for this is the will of those that walk the "Dark Path of Glory" one will rise in power and favor from the Dark Gods, while the weak were crushed, killed, and subjugated.
Dropping Yuri onto the ground, Ixion/Warp Gods address their newest addition to their forces, "We're the victor of this duel, of this war. Now you'll belong to us!!! Once we've replenish, and are fully prepared not only will this land of snow and frost belong to a worthy master, but the South will fear us. From Kislev, Sylvania, and the Empire, to all three settlements of the Elves, and lands beyond will belong to Chaos!!!" upon hearing their declaration and oath all the warriors and daemons of Chaos, cheered and chanted their name over and over.
Looking down at their former enemy, beaten and burned Daemon Prince, as they made Ixion point his finger at him and tell him, "You've lost, and under the oath made in the ears of the Gods, your bound to whatever fate we deem for you." Yuri groaned since he knows that the Gods have heard him, admit defeat and were watching to see if he live up to his oath, so he submitted to his fate, the Architect deemed him weak and has abandoned him for his own weakeness, so he must follow through with his word.
So he surrendered himself to the judgement of the Chosen of the Gods, Ixion/Warp Gods seeing and sensing the Daemon Prince surrender from his very soul, so they kept on talking, telling Yuri Godslayer his fate, "You'll forever serve us, in our conquest with loyalty, devotion, and obedience. For in this moment you are our, Godslayer, the armies you've once lead are destroyed, and replaced with the Dark Legion." with that settled, he called for some tribesmen to come.
Answering his call immediately they came to Ixion/Warp Gods' summons, he order the marauders and chaos knights to carry Yuri into Enzium, and wait for them to take the Daemon Prince to the Healing Chamber within their Living Daemon Fortress.
They bowed at them, and using their combined strength they took away the beaten Godslayer, within Ixion they check on the damages that their avatar, all throughout Ixion's form...despite their egos and personal power, they knew that Ixion can't handle another battle straight away they needed to allow the auto-repair ability that the Dark One installed into it to do its work, less they'll suffer their first lost in the Old World.
So as a annoying as it is, they'll have to stay in the area, resting within Enzium until at least Ixion was around 45% repaired.
They sighed and mentally instructed Kholek, Skarlet, and Dullahan to handle things and take control of the surrounding areas around the Golden Monolith, they each swore that they'll do exactly as they command and cut off the mental-link.
Just as they were starting to head back to Enzium, and re-enter their Greater Daemon/Stronghold, a geyser of blood sprouted in front of them, and soon a shadow of some items could be seen within the center of the blood-geyser, the Dark One commented that it seems that Khorne's weaker counterpart was about to give them their first "gift" apart from the mark that Khorne's State possesses.
As the amount of blood started to diminish along with the geyser itself, so Laharl told Khorne to take the reigns and claim whatever OW-Khorne was offering to them, as he said the Blood God took control and transform their avatar into a damaged version of his own state.
Once the blood-geyser fully disappear and revealed a bright red heavy chestplate armor, a round armor that bares a silhouette of a daemon face with close mouth of blade like teeth of brass in the rib-height, over the armor was rib cage made from bones with the spine connected to the back, on this bone made pieces have brass and metal rings and spikes in the spine.
Along the new chestplate armor was a pair of huge, thick red brass and gold greaves with small lines of bones and spikes trailing down the front of the greaves, and just below where the knee-guards are a pure white sharp curved horn skull on the top of each greave, these khornate relics were emanating power and rage.
The Blood God was actually impressed, a worthy pieces of armor for his avatar state, he'll gladly make these new armors to his overall form walking over the chestplate and greaves in one touch those gifts presented by the weaker Blood God of the Old World, merged with his state of Ixion, the chestplate was now on along with the heavy pair of greaves.
Khorne felt much stronger and immediately the connection shifted from his weaker counterpart to him, he started to laugh hardly inside of the avatar, as he relinquished control over Ixion and shared it with his brothers, reverting to their Undivided State.
They thought they could finally go back to Enzium, when they started to smell luscious fragrances...and unspeakable other scents.
Khorne immediately groaned in exasperation and clear annoyance, not that Laharl could blame him since he too knew what was happening...Slaanesh came to give them something, that more likely none of them would actually want, with very specific exceptions from the Dark One if it proved to be a great source of [Lust] maybe he'll take it...maybe.
Just as the fragrances were actually becoming visible in a pinkish purple mist, with the sound of pleasurable moaning and cries from countless women reaching their ears then a couple of beautiful, sensual women made from this slaaneshi mist came to them, rubbing and caressing their avatar body.
Laharl, Khorne and Nurgle were getting a bit annoyed for one they're married or engaged to better women, two since being higher tier and more powerful Gods they can see the true ugliness of Slaanesh's little seduction reward...they were losing what little patience they have went another of these "seductresses" came with the actual gift from the Goddess of Excess.
On her knees presenting around her extended arms made from pinkish-purple mist a long ornamental gilded chain, with precious stones and crystal exuding corruption and temptation, humming they made Ixion take the chain, and felt a insignificant amount of Slaanesh's influence trying and failing to enter them.
This chain was imbued with mind altering traits, increasing the ego, pride, and sadistic tendencies of the wearer but while it didn't affect them, with a little tinkering by the Dark Creator it can be used as a weapon that weekens the mental capabilities and reasons of opponent, so for now they wrapped a couple times over Ixion accepting the Dark Princess gift.
With that Slaanesh's presence faded, leaving them to their previous business.
Having obtained two powerful gifts from Chaos, the Warp Gods decided to check on the avatar's status, and also the status of their army with the addition of the remnants of Yuri's former army.
They contacted the "assistant" installed on the avatar by Laharl to bring up what they desire, she responded, (Of course, right away my Lords.) as they walked back to Enzium, they saw the transparent blue screen floating before them and they began reading.

But for now regrettably they need to rest as they dismissed the screen and start climbing the stairway entrance of Enzium, that came to them instead of them having to go to him.
Meanwhile the monstrous army of Throgg was getting closer and closer by the hour...
