Chapitre 294: Greece's Last Stand Part 1: Atlantis' Carnage

(General POV)

Location the God of War World-The Kingdom of Poisedon, Atlantis/Greece

From the Sea beside the marvel and oceanic paradise city, under the dominion of the God of the Ocean, Poisedon a great storm was forming, many believed that they may have angered their patron God to allow these horrors to Atlantis.

But the cause of these turbulent waters and storm was beneath the sea...in the darkest depths three entities were battling.

Scylla was trying to bite Laharl that used his serpents to keep the horrific first boss of the Ghost of Sparta game at bay.

His wounded serpent was partly restored back to prime state, and he was able to attack with it again.

Scylla roared at the Arch-Daemon's face as they swam across the dark depths, with a ethereal maroon chain, the Gleipnir connected to Laharl right claw was pulling a struggling and angered Poisedon that couldn't free his foot from the Dark One's chain!!

Eventually Laharl managed to turn Scylla's head to the side and using his right index claw he gave the Scourge of the Ocean something special, driving said claw to the lower eye of the three of that side of the Sea Monster's head.

Scylla roared out in pain, as Laharl twisted his index claw inside her head, making bubble and stream of red blood mix to seawater.

Scylla had little choice but to surface, which was exactly what Laharl desired to force out his two opponents from the Ocean.

As the dark depths was becoming slightly more clearer, with every mile they quickly swam to the surface.

When at last they've reached and emerged from the surface, immediately the Dark One spread his wing and using his tentacles to push off, Scylla took flight...but not before, he commanded his chain, Gleipnir, to wrap around Scylla soo the monster couldn't escape either what the Arch-Daemon, was about to unleash upon her and Poisedon.

As the Dark One, took to the air while Scylla roared and dive underwater again only when Laharl reach a specific height she and Poisedon at the end of the chain were pulled out the Ocean, just like fishing.

Unable to resist or escape from Laharl's grasp as he pulled the Gleipnir and in turn both Scylla and Poisedon higher into the sky.

Both Scylla and Poisedon thrashed and struggle to free themselves but after the chain of Laharl, the Gleipnir has it master's target around it links, it will not let go!!!

Laharl rised his right hand over his head, and started to spin his victims at the end of the Gleipnir.

Spinning and spinning in greater speed, as each spin was made, for the people of the sea-city of Atlantis it was as they were witnessing a great typhoon forming over the ocean, and they saw the grey titanic monster, at first they believed their seeing Typhon that has escaped and come to destroy them...but they realize that this monster wasn't the feared, "Father of All Monsters" especially since the Arch-Daemon was more menacing and frightening than the descriptions of Lord Typhon.

Then as Laharl was spinning Scylla and Poisedon, at his greatest speed and strength, he decided that it was time to break his catch.

Channeling his recent magic, specifically the Lore of Lightning, through his chain turning the Gleipnir from maroon to a electric light blue with a white and yellow edge in color, with surges of light blue, yellow, and white electricity coursing throughout the chain.

That said lightning was now surging from the chain into both Scylla and Poisedon!!!

Scylla roared, while Poisedon screamed at the agony of the electricity that was surging through them, shocking and burning both of them from the inside out.

As this happen, from the perception of the humans below, it looked like a great tempest storm that was raging and surging over their home, but this havic happening on the heavens was also affecting the Ocean as well.

Raging tides, and great waves were crashing against the ports of the city.

Then from the sky two massive objects were hurled towards the city...what happened was that the Dark One, has send one last pulse of lightning through the chain, blasting more watts of electricity through them, as the final swing released both Scourge of the Ocean and it King towards Atlantis below.

Both Scylla and Poisedon crashed and broke through much of the city, with Scylla smashing through the great flood gates/bridge and crashing against the other side of sea-area surrounding Atlantis, while Poisedon smashed through his statue and the city Square, ending in the destroying the central council building.

Covered in electrical burns and coughing blood from the impact, Poisedon grunted and turned, which shocked all the Atlantians, seeing their patron God such a state was inconceivable to them, as the monster responsible was still flying over their precious city.

Looking over the cowarding citizen of the Sea-city of Atlantis, the Dark One decided it was time to start the destruction of Poisedon's favorite city...

Retracting his chain, back into his ring, and he channeled his power and connection to his domain within the Warp, opening violet, maroon and black breaches across of Atlantis, and coming throught them was his entire daemonic legion from Ba'al Allseer, Mordred Deathharbinger, Beelzabub, Morrigan Triarch: Clo'thoa Hather and Monica, Varimathras, and Alcina Dimitrescu, even L'litha the Brew Mistress riding upon her Death Stinger Queen, that she's has named Vespa'Na came under command of her Dark God to win some favor and forgiveness, along with some new ingredients for her latest brew.

All were brought fort from the Nethervoid, leading the daemonic legions of Carnage, and even Nidhog was summoned as well by their Dark God, from the largest breach far away from the city.

Doom and destruction has come for Atlantis, as Laharl was descending closer to the city, when he close to strike at the port with his sword, two grayish tentacles emerged from the underneath the waters.

Immediately the Dark One recognized these tentacles of the ones belonging to Scylla, she is as every bit stubborn, as she is in the Ghost of Sparta game.

Reacting quickly he cut off both tentacles with his Ragnarok, blood gushed out and stained the Ocean surface.

But before Scylla could retract her badly, wounded tentacles the Dark One grabbed one and using his super Godly strength, pulled Scylla out the Ocean, with the whale like monster roaring in fury, only for Laharl to stab his ring and middle of his left claw through the underside of her mouth and out of said mouth.

Almost gripping and shutting up the Sea Monster, as Laharl flew quickly to the rocky shallows of the port, the very area where Kratos and Scylla have their boss fight...only he was the boss and Scylla was prey.

Smashing her head against every large jagged rock, and also the massive anchor stabbing one of its spikes in another of her eyes making Scylla let out, a gurgled and obstructed scream.

Using her massive claws she tried to free herself from the Dark One and the anchor spike in her eye, but it was clear which of these giants was stronger.

Laharl then used his upper right serpent to grab onto the anchor and force it upperward tearing through the upper part around the pierced eye, similar to a fishhook coming out the side of the mouth of a fish, this caused unbelievable damage and pain to Scylla as Laharl threw her into inland.

Smashing through several buildings and structures, as many fleeing civilians were crushed under the ragdoll like Scylla, until she stopped rolling by crashing against a sturdy stairway.

She was freed but completely helpless away from water, Scylla tried to remove the anchor before she tried to return to the Ocean, but the Dark One, he didn't relent, as he was already on her shoulder tackling her throught the stairway.

Roaring out in pain, and wiggling around like a beached fish Laharl continued attacking her.

The Dark One started by cutting off her tail with his Ragnarok, causing a huge wave of blood to surge through the streets of Atlantis, Scylla roared in pain as then the Dark One pinned her down by stabbing his massive, daemonic sword through her back, and began beating Scylla with his fists.

After delivering a brutal beatdown, which his daemons were enjoying...the Arch-Daemon, decided to end the Sea Monster.

Grabbing by the back of her head, he tore her off his Ragnarok that he quickly banished after doing this, once again Scylla roared and whined in pain but was quickly silenced by Laharl smashing her head through every building that stood in the way.

Eventually the path of destruction lead to the tallest and rising area of Atlantis, also their most sacred place, the cliff that Poisedon's Temple was erected.

Laharl smashed Scylla right side of her head against the columns of the side of the temple, Scylla tried to fight back one last time, sprouting her tentacles to attack her attacker, only for Laharl serpent bite and coil around these tentacles, using their strength to twist and tear off these limbs, bathing their violet and black scales in crimson, as they swallowed those torn tentacles whole.

Scylla growling and still fighting against Laharl that didn't release her, she drove her claws onto the side of the Temple of the Sea God, in order to push off against it but once again Laharl's serpents struck.

Coiling around the arms and bitting around the wrists of Scylla, and with all their strength and coiled pressure they snapped and broke Scylla's arm, causing the Scourge of the Ocean to roar loudly in agony.

Laharl used all his serpents and other arm to hold Scylla tight, and lift her over the temple, aiming to impale her head on the giant sharp, replica of Poisedon's triton on top of the temple Scylla squirm in the Dark One's, grip sensing danger approaching her...but it was too late as the Arch-Daemon, smashed her head against the triton impaling her through her head and brain, gushing soo much blood that poured off the sides of the temple, with a couple of spasms and twitches, and Scylla was dead.

All his daemons and Elder Daemons cheered at the vicious kill of Scylla, that they've witnessed as the Scourge of the Ocean, now hanged dead from the Sea God's temple.

At that moment Poisedon finally stood back up, to witness the growing devastation happening to his city...

Location Macedonia-Corrupted Plains Battlefield, Chaos vs Olympians

Back to the main battlefield of Macedonia.

The Olympians' army was completely defeated and crushed by the combined forces of the Amazons and the various daemons.

The last standing Olympians were trying to turn the losing tide of battle, towards their favor but it was clear that the victors were already decided.

Currently Helios and Jade were still fighting with the Gobo Queen having the greater advantage during their duel.

Helios was already badly injured and Jade was relentless and brutal against him when he managed to bridge the gap to fight her up close, she attack with her strange axe (wrench) always aiming for his legs, and whenever the opportunity allowed she'd attack were strange magical crossbow (shotgun), all the while, all Helios could do is attack with sunfire balls or evade which ate away, as his stamina and energy.

But in the end all Jade needed was one clean shot to win, a shot that has finally presented itself to her.

Helios tried to blind her with a mouth-flash of the Sun, only for Daemon Queen of Anarchy, to place on her goggles completely protecting herself from Helios' sunshine, Helios hoped that with this he'd be able to blind and burn Jade away only...for him to hear a extremely loud "bang" and felt utter agony from his left thigh.

Jade shot him slightly off his leg to cause him pain and knock him off his ass, which totally worked.

Helios fell down holding his large wound as a huge chuck of flesh was blown off of him, his hands covered in his blood, as he squirmed and thrashed around the ground, screaming his head off!!!

Jade smirked, with her sharp-teeth showing clearly she reached to her goggles and took them off, watching Helios squirm was very funny and fun to her but she was starting to get bored soo she aimed her shotgun at Helios right arm and pulled the trigger.

Helios' right arm was blown off all that remained was a bleeding, mutilated nub, again he screamed but then another loud bang and left leg was gone as well it too was blown off by Jade's shotgun blasts.

Helios fell to ground losing two different limbs, the pain he was experiencing was like nothing he has ever felt before, as the Gobo Queen approached the down Sun God and stabbed deeply with her weaponized wrench onto the left shoulder of the Sun God.

Using her strength to lift him to partial eye-level, and she started mustering all the force she could without killing the pretty boy, she pulled him close along with the added momentum and force of her helm-headbutt.

Helios felt the cracking of his skull and breaking of his nose, followed by unconsciousness, Jade smiled as Godblood ran down her helmet and she tore out her wrench from her victim's shoulder he dropped unconscious, as Jade Emerlhyde was the victor of this fight.

Looking at the broken pretty boy, God of the Sun she let out a hardy laugh, as she in the end had a great fight.

Since the Sun God was barely alive, she scratched her head and sighed as she now had to drag this punk Olympian, to Scalpel to keep him alive...putting away her wrench, and resting her shotgun on her shoulder, Jade grabbed Helios by his hair and dragged him away.

Meanwhile in the battle between Chi and Demeter, the final moments were closing in...

Chi blocked all Demeter's magical attack, or completely neutralize her magic corrupting her plants or life magic, forcing a solely magic based Olympian to fight in other means which are impossible for her.

In the end Chi conjured a giant violet and burgundy colored man-eater plant from below, sprouting several gaping maws, drooling in hunger, as Chi pointed her shaman staff towards Demeter, a direct command to the daemon plant to attack her.

Demeter tried her best to fly around, and evade the ravenous daemonic plants that Chi set loose upon her.

But at the end she got caught by Chi's corrupted plants her leg was badly bitten and the acidic saliva of the plant covered her leg and puncture wound, which cause Demeter utter agony as more and more of these plants circled in.

Demeter was bitten on her wings destroying them, as well as damaging her back and her other leg was targeted as well.

Just when one plant was aiming for her head, she focused her power to grow shrubs and thick moss over her body to protect herself from the upcoming attacks.

Not only did this work, it allowed her to enter the plants of Chi which turned out to be a terrible mistake in her part.

While navigating through these daemonic plant-way, she was flooded with direct corruption of Carnage and Daemonic energies causing unbelievable amounts of agony, and damage to her body, mind, and very soul.

Eventually Demeter emerged from the earth beside the man-eater daemon plants and as she gasped and her eyes rolled to the back of her head, she fell unconscious to the ground, easy prey for Chi and her dark florrah.

Hestia witnessing all of this saw, as Chi swipe down her staff as a command to her corrupted plants to finish her dear younger sister, refusing to see more of her family die, Hestia stopped her conjuring of her hearth-flames and appeared before Chi, her hands out wide standing in front of the unconscious Harvest Goddess.

Hestia pleaded for her sister's life and even surrender to save Demeter her dear sister's life, that was now laid broken and unconscious at the feet of Chi, who looked at the unconscious Harvest Goddess and said, "I've already proven my superiority over this Goddess...Children of Carnage!!!" Chi call back her plants and summon some of the laharlish daemons, as they were brought fort several knightmares, and void wraiths to her side.

She ordered them to restrain both Hestia and Demeter along with taking the Harvest Goddess to her sister Scalpel to get some medical aid, as she left them to do as she command.

With Hestia surrender the hearth flames, were quelled and allowed the daemonic of Carnage, Blood, and Plague were free to ravish the whole of Greece unimpeded, even the furies sisters, Alecto, Megaera and Tisiphon or the Moirai/Sisters of Fate, Lahkesis, Atropos and Clotho wouldn't be able to stand against the Tide of Chaos.

It was clear the end of the Olympians was very close, and the total corruption of Greece as well.

Now all that "could" stand against their devastation of Greece, and it was barely a possibility was Hera that was currently at the mercy of Cassandra...

(Poisedon POV)

Location the Kingdom of Poisedon, Atlantis/Greece

My kingdom was burning!!!

My followers were running and screaming in terror, as these monsters from Laharl Valboga's domain were ravishing what still stood of my Atlantis!!!

Scylla was killed in brutal fashion by the Arch-Daemon, currently that useless monster was impelled and bleeding off the tallest building of the city, my temple, with a giant anchor piercing the other side of her head.

Her blood soaked the grounds and sea, as caged creatures (Mortifinis) were killing my followers in the surrounding area.

Cause of my pain and anger the Sea, was more ramped and rising the tide onto the city, but just when I'm about to try control and lower the tides.

The Arch-Daemon struck against me again, slashing his massive dark sword at me.

I barely evaded the slash, as I was still cut across my chest the deeper part of that cut being my shoulder, as my blood dripped and gushed out my wound, I channeled my power causing my marking to glow ocean blue as I grip my triton, and stood against my opponent Laharl Valboga that roared and hissed at me.
