(General POV)
Location Realspace-Far edge on Eldar Space/Sector Kilazao'lam
In the deep edge of the Alderi Empire was a large sector of several planet which are still underdeveloped planets that the eldar were still colonizing and terraforming to their liking when...a colossal surge of psychic energy started to permeate and flow through the whole sector...
At the center of this once peaceful part of the galaxy, was suddenly disturbed by a ginormous green rift on reality, tearing the fabric between the Materium and Immaterium, this warpstorm unlike the ones that brought the Great Rage of Kjorn or the Maddening Shadow of Alka'lkarnak this rift from the Warp was like nothing the alderi have faced yet.
Once again another part of their empire was cut off from the rest, the intense force of psychic energy was agonizing...and sickening for the eldar many falling to a terrible unexplainable illness, high fevers, extreme sweat, mind splitting headaches, and explosive vomiting only the strongest and more trained eldar willstood this new horrific effect that came from the Sea of Souls, but that wasn't the worse of it all...
Once again they were attacked by the denizens of the Warp...unlike the neverborn that they've faced before these daemon were utterly new...
As bells were rung and legions of green monsters and creatures swarmed into these unsuspecting alderi worlds, giant green, bloated antler horn behemoths (Great Unclean Ones) some with two or one eye stomp their way through these planets, spreading a sickly infection and aura even the grounds started to decay, wither, and mutate as their march.
Following these disgusting giants were other things of nauseating appearance, from small imp like versions of the behemoths (Nurglings) all swarming together towards the poor Eldar [think the Nurglings animations from TW3] alongside cyclopian bloated, infected horror wielding a decaying kriss like blades (Plaguebearers) each small squad was lead by a herald one of three types...
They are elite among the Plaguebearers before the Grandfather commanded them to invade or even being fully born he summoned many Plaguebearers to ascend one of these high-daemons was the Poxbringers, slightly larger and greatly stronger than a plaguebearer with several horn pertrutions sprouting from their back with small plague or doombells hanging from these back-horns the Poxbringers were leading the charge commanding the lesser daemons to strike and infect the mortal eldar.
Amongst the legions were other unique heralds which are tasked with spreading joy and merriment amongst their daemonkin as they spread the Plague God's gifts.
Sloppity Bilepipers perfectly sum up the repugnant jollity of the Plague God armed with a set of jolly gutpipes and a marotter, these Heralds are the first carriers of one of the Plaguefather's newest gift called the Chortling Murrain, a disease that causes its victims to laugh themselves to death seen clearly as they dance and play their disgusting bagpipes infecting the eldar with "infectious" laughter.
The Sloppity Bilepipers were cavorting and joking along with the Nurglings, Great Unclean Ones and the Beasts of Nurgle (but not Plaguebearers, who lack a sense of humour) and their appearance brings joys and morale to the Plague God's legion as they invade these alderi worlds.
The Sloppity Bilepipers resemble a plaguebearer in the most part, but have skinnier limbs, sharper fangs, and wear a dirty burgundy colored jester hat baring the mark on Nurgle in the front.
Aside from their bloated, and sick ridden bodies they are quite nimble and agile surprising for the legions of Nurgle.
Lastly amongst these plague heralds were the Spoilpox Scriveners are downright dour creatures when compared to the Plague God's other Daemons.
It is their job to ensure that Plaguebearers meet their tallies, a job they accomplish by relentlessly browbeating and bullying their counterparts with a barrage of insults and commands, quite sour daemons that comes as surprise in the legion of Nurgle.
This was the Plaguebearers to fight even harder and makes them a strategic linchpin in Nurgle's armies, as these horrendous looking neverborn march amongst the armies both keeping tally of the contagion and fighting alongside the rest of their daemonkin.
The Spoilpox Scriveners have quite the unique and grotesque appearance while sour in personality, they're proud of the task and position their Dark Father has given them.
Unlike most of Nurgle's daemons, the spoilpoxs possess three eyes instead of the usual singular or in uncommon occasions two, their mouths have greatly mutated and malform into a elongated appendage that wraps around their neck and the size of their said most was quite massive.
To carry their scrolls they use the open wounds and dead flesh to hold them, as they wear sashes of sick, infected leather and wield a quill and scroll to battle and tally...
Not only that but legions of Plague Toad, Flies, and Snails along with Beast of Nurgle also went through the many breaches scattered throughout these worlds.
Those eldar that could still stand...and "fight"...tried to face the slow approaching legions of diseased neverborn, only to meet a very, very gruesome and revolting death.
As the bashees, guardians, and other alderi warriors charged against these unnatural invaders...they felt incredibly sick, after getting halfway close to these daemons.
All feeling extremely nauseous, feverish, cold sweats, dizziness, stomach and head-pains as the plague daemons were now upon these brave, foolish souls...
The Nurglings immediately climbed all over these eldar bitting, scratching, smothering, them everywhere [Nurglings kill animation from TW3] while not that damaging all the constant wounds and the immediately infection after killed the unfortunate souls that have become the nurglings playmates.
The Plaguebearers hacked down the eldar leaving deep wounds, or cut off body parts which immediately infected them with the poisons and diseases coating their plague and bileswords, the Poxbringers were too fighting while the Spoilpox Scriveners aside from buffing their plaguebearers they were also fighting bitting off the head of the eldars that managed to get close, or actually sneezing disease-ridden projectiles at them.
The ones most having fun were the Beast of Nurgle that scurry quickly and joyfully towards the eldar to "play" with their new playmate, but as always these daemons play too rough and their friend/prey ends up broken and dead, so they scurry along to find a new one.
The Toads hopped their way towards the shining cavaliers, striking hard against the jetbike riding eldar, despite some of the cavaliers landing some attacks on the daemon toads they did no damage at all both because their daemons and Nurgle super-endurance.
In the end they became lunch for the Plague Toads, launching their mouth-tip tongue at their prey pulling them in to the litteral maws of death.
The Plague Drones or Rot Flies, swarm and swoop down at their prey in great speeds with blade-sharp legs sink into soft flesh splashing xeno blood, while also infecting their prey to make them more...appetizing.
As their posterior mouth-parts latch onto the faces of their victims, and the Rot Flies let out titters of mean-spirited laughter as they pluck heads from necks and swallow them whole.
Returning to the ground, the Plague Snail or Molluscoids like many of the children of Nurgle, were slowly making their way towards their prey while leaving trails of slime, soaking up the Eldars' attacks without any sign of damage or pain, as they slowly make their way forwards followed by countless other Daemons of Plague.
The Great Unclean Ones were simply smashing down their blades, flails, or bells on the puny eldar, or casting one of the abilities that the Grandfather blessed with, such as [Miasma of Pestilence], or [Blight Boil] these litteral sickening daemonic sorcery was killing, infecting, mutating all they effect.
Much of the planets/battlefields were quickly suffering Nurgle corruption as fungus, flowers, decay, and pestilence was spreading all in Father Nurgle's name.
This was happening all around either subcoming to the sicknesses and diseases these monsters carried, or fall to their blades and horrific powers.
It was clear this is the Age of Plague...
Location the Nethervoid-Bourderland between Carnage & Blood/The Bastion Stairs
Laharl in his Arch-Daemon form was flying over the edge between his realm and Khorne, gathered all around him in billions of Carnage Daemons along with his seven Wives and Queens.
He quickly ordered Mordred and Beelzabub to lead their all forces Northwest, towards the daemonic domain of Nurgle as soon as he gave that command the armored giant and the fly elder daemons mobilized their forces, marching across the Nethervoid, once they were partly gone he turned his attention to his wives and some of their own personal forces.
Like before he ordered Chi, Jade, Kiira, and Cassandra to go to the Materium and fight against Nurgle's forces currently in Realspace, to both cut off any possible reinforcements from when they attack, or allow the Plague God any small amount of getting more strength while waging war against them and Khorne's forces.
They gave the Dark One one last farewell as the four Daemon Queens left for war, he also ordered Crystallyl and her Shi'lanorai to guard the Nethervoid during this battle for they can't risk for a moment to leave the realm of Carnage unprotected.
The Frost Eldar Queen swore she'll safeguard his lands, as the Dark One took Scalpel, Ruu, and Ragna with him to the Blood Lands to speak with Khorne one last time before the battle officially begins.
As the three remaining Queen climb up him, from his serpents like before Laharl spread his six wings and flew into the scarlet hellscape that is Blood Lands, the Realm of Khorne.
Location the Blood Lands-the Northwest Volcanic Mountains
Khorne with his Unmaker resting on his side waiting for Valkia as his loyal hound Karanak and his pack were close to him.
His legion gathered under the command of his recently ascended Elder Daemon, Skarbrand who also had the daemoninc spawn Scyla Anfingrimm and the disgraced and forced to obey, Bloodthirster, Ka'bandha under his direct command.
Legions of khornate daemons were ready and eager to go into bloody war at Khorne command, as the Blood God sensed his beloved wife approaching the area, turning his helmed head slightly he saw as she was leading a legion of her daughters, the Blood Valkyries, all flying towards the gathered army of millions almost billion of Blood Daemons.
Valkia landed beside her lord and husband, as he nodded to her and saw as her daughters joined the rest of the legion all was ready for the upcoming battle...
Before the Blood God can give the command to march, he sense another very powerful presence along with three other strong presences are coming towards him.
Khorne recognized these presences after a moment, he sighed as he turned towards the sky to see the approaching colossal entity flying towards them.
Even he the God of War, had to admit his brother's new form was very impressive, Khorne turned his body and all his attention towards Laharl and as he approached him the Blood God noticed who was with him, his sisters-in-law Scalpel, Ruu, and Ragna.
After they got closer, the Dark One stopped approaching and greeted his brother, Khorne, and his sister-in-law, Valkia.
When Laharl noticed them nodding to him ad response to his greeting, the Dark One he started to slowly descend from the crimson skies of the Blood Lands, requesting to speak with them both of the upcoming battle against Nurgle and the aftermath involving the wager of ownership of the Infernal Destroyer...
