(Chaos Sorcerer POV)
Location the ruins of Aisther, before the First-Imcomplete Warp Rift
The power manifested from the depths of the Warp, are like nothing I've imagined when Lord Corex chose me to perform one of the summoning rituals across Kolbaline I was honored this will allow me to gain favor with the Dark One the swirling powers of Carnage how I feel it surging in the very air, the summoning is progressing smoothly with Lord Andamalas predicting the enemy pathetic movements and attempts to stop us this ritual will serve as a beacon for my brothers and sisters to begin their own.
As the dark spell I was performing neared it end and the Warp started to tear through the fabric of the Materium forming a ever growing rift of Carnage power, it was beautiful to my eyes as the sacred colors of the Dark One was shining through the violets, the blacks, and more were gorgeous as the Neverborn Children of the Carnage God were growing ever closer to crossing over, the screams and begging for mercy from the weak, pathetic civilians only serve to irate me they should be grateful that their souls and lives would be use by such a majestic being as the Dark One and the Dark Ladies.
I continue the spell, almost reaching the final verse as the warp-energies erupt from my very hands, surging to the sky merging with purple lighting and flowing straight into the rift hastening it's completion and the final twenty-six sacrifices are close to be gouged and bleed dry when...
(Commanding Guardsman of Stealth Squad POV)
Location near the Ritual Site of Aisther ruins-Northeast
As my general commanded, I led my squad through Aisther, sneaking past several horrors and quietly eliminating these threats and obstacles impending our mission.
I witnessed abominations that many only heard in rumors from fellow soldiers that have returned from the main battle but whatever this mutation that was affecting the living but the inorganic as well was getting worse the closer we got to Aisther's center and many of my men suffered as we've progressed one of them even impaled his bayonet into his chin and fired the laps-riffle blowing his head off all while saying something about "Laharl" whoever this thing is it must be responsible for everything that happened to Kolbaline in this war.
We're proceeding as fast as we could, especially with the enemy getting massive reinforcements from damned traitors attacking the General and our forces, but our progress has been delayed by these massive super mutants (Chaos Spawns) that the enemy has let loose on the ruined hivecity while riddling one of these mutants/spawns the corruption and mutation of the area has hastened, drastically affecting the surroundings as these damned vines were growing in drastic speed entangling the buildings, destroyed mechs and war vehicles, along with the corpses of the fallen from the previous battle, this unnatural plants are even developing needles, black leaves, and even mouths filled with razor-sharp teeth trying to snatch me and my men some were unlucky enough to become prey to these maroon colored plants.
They were caught by these vines or the tongues of them pulled directly to their painful ends, ripping these men and women into pieces when we tried to save them by shooting with our weapons barely harming them, in reality we only made them angry and forced to leave these soldiers to their fates...
That was but the first of things that we've had to face to reach the target area, save the captives, and provide aid to our main force of our allies.
We have to fight and kill insane fanatics with body mutations, markings, or more, claiming that we served as nourishment for this entity called the "Dark One" but then the "Violet Storm" was worsening as the purple lighting was striking down onto the earth and much more so we hasten our mission while rushing in deeper into Aisther the greater the corruption turning the once ruined, burned, and collapse hivecity into a violet covered bio-nightmare as the maroon vines kept growing and tangling the entire area spreading from the city's center we must hurry!
Eventually, we've reached the edge near the center, allowing us to see what appears to be a twisted sacrificial ritual being performed by the enemy I though like many within the Guard, that all these traitors and mutants are nothing more than utterly insane fanatics speaking in a tongue completely alien to all of us, and as we're about to storm the area and rescue the remaining captive all collared in a spiked black band (eight-point star collar) and chains connecting them to one another I saw the several dozens of innocent civilians on the violet ground dead and bleed dry onto the corrupted earth.
Before I can give the order to begin the attack/rescue, the armored robed wearing leader in the center started reaching out to the sky as the swirling unpredictable energies of the Violet Storm started to gather and surge into a single point pushing us back, as the dust and violet dirt was blow into our faces by the intense storm like wind, forcing not only me but all my men to shield their eyes from the particles and debris blown towards us, it took a minute for the wind to calm down and allowing me to see clearly at...at the swirling various shade violet, purple, maroon, black and white colored portal forming an expanding before us it was...it was...mesmerizing like something was calling to me it took one of my men to smack me back to reason asking for my order, rising my laps-riffle and taking aim I only said "Fire!!!!"
(General POV)
The Summoning was almost complete all the pieces and part were done now, and all its left was for the Warp to gather its energy to shatter the fabric between it and the Materium before any of the forces of Chaos could celebrate this glorious occasion they were attacked by a small detachment of the Kolbaline Guard that has managed to enter the ritual site.
The Chaos Sorcerer and the Cultists were enraged by this sacrilege towards their Dark God and his sacrifice so he immediately ordered their forces to counterattack, charging the enemy as the sorcerer forced the rift to stablelize and open much quicker by bending the powers of Chaos to do so.
This fire fight between the assault squad and the chaos ritualistis is intense as the cultists and skullheads, along with the acolytes, were fighting against the interlopers daring to defy their ritual as the fanatical followers of Carnage were the most enraged by this insult, while the rest of their forces from Chaos Guardsmen, Enlighten Guard, Gobos, and even some Flesh Husks were reinforcing their attack.
Bullets, red colored lasers from laps-guns, explosives, and more soared through the ritual turned into a small battleground the Chaos Sorcerer tasked by Lord Andamalas was gathering as much power, more than his mortal body can handle to finish the ritual earlier and faster.
All the while, the appointed squad leader was doing his best to kill all their hostile enemies, rush in to stop whatever that breach/rift is, and stop their enemy from furthering the chaos that the "Violet Storm" was causing to Aisther and their forces as their probably fighting tooth and nail to slow down the enemy main force with everything they could muster, while taking cover alongside some riflemen, behind a small piece of wall free from the mutated roots he managed to spot the enemy commander was alone not paying attention to them, or battle, or the captives only focusing on the ever growing breach before the messed up Cult like sorcerer.
Seeing this, it was clear he was responsible for the massacre, the breach, and in turn, that breach was responsible for the Violet Storm, which was calming down at the farthest reaches of the ritual site but there the winds felt like miniature cyclones, the violet lighting was intensifying and the mutation and growth of the mutated maroon vines/roots so he knew what must be done, taking off his faded green colored Guard-Helmet and then replacing it with special scoping goggles, relinquishing one of the laps-riffle from his men covering beside him he took careful aim, waiting for the right moment through the chaotic battle, resting the weapon on the edge of the remaining wall, breathing in and out lining the killshot, putting his finger on the trigger...
As the Sorcerer struggled both mentally and physically to force his body to take raw force of Chaos to amount that no mortal could handle, the results were quickly showing as parts of his body was quickly mutating as the corruptive powers of the Warp continued surging through his body and soul.
But it was all worth it as his agonizing struggle proved useful as the rift stablelize and the violatile forces of Carnage were calming around the area, and the whispers sounded clearer as the Chaos-touched Kolbaline saw into the rift countless silhouettes of creatures that were only majestic and divine in the eyes of this Sorcerer then he saw what could be a specter (Void Wraith) appear in front the clear grey hooded lesser daemon was complementing and praising the sorcerer for achieving what was task to him, bringing pride and joy into the highly mutated sorcerer but then he heard "...but...there is...one...more component for...us...to descend to the Materium..." before the Chaos Sorcerer could ask what this component is, he felt the burning sensation tear through his body.
Feeling his body go numb and weak, as his life started to quickly fade away from his body, from the Chaos Sorcerer's fading vision, he witnessed the rift split open like a massive vortex of swirling violet, maroon and black.
Soon enough came the legion of carnage, countless daemons from Knightmares, Stalkers, Slaughter Calvary, Void Wraiths, Lesser Succubi, and Observers while the same Void Wraith came floating before the dying sorcerer and said in a ghostly voice "the...last...component was...the soul of a...faithful follower...go...now...into the Immaterium as...another...eternal servant...of the...Dark One..." and with those last words, the sorcerer perished, his soul taken into the Warp by Laharl himself, and with that, the summoning was complete and the daemonic invasion of Kolbaline begins...at last...
