It's like trying to look at the sun. You know it will harm you, It is even nearly impossible to directly look at it and yet you try to stop doing it ignoring your survival instincts.

This is the same, She knows whatever that beast is, A something that should not walk around in the mortal realm and yet she unlike normal not rushed ahead wanting to send it back where it belongs.

Rather she loves to stay here in the presence of the beast that she has no idea about, she can't even see it.
