Max had established that he was not to be messed with, however, his 3 giants had also been killed in combat against the two tier5 warriors. 

Although they were able to stall the two for a valuable 5 minutes of mayhem, causing both of them to lose about 15% of their total HP, they could not hold out for any longer. 

This meant that now he had expended all 3 of his number increasing skills in the form of Netherbeasts Summoning, Giant Summoning and Perfect Clone, which left him to face these three powerhouses alone. 

On the bright side, Sebastian and Asiva were current wreaking havoc on the battlefield with their dragon's, causing the enemy side to suffer major losses. 

On the worse side, He did not even have Zippo to protect him for a while if things went wrong since he had sent him to help the clone in his fight against the god.
