Jennet pursed her lips. "I see nothing.” She said her denial calmly.

"You did. Erase it." The reaper inched closer.

Jennet stepped back. Her chest beat faster. "I see nothing!"

"You did." The reaper moved even closer. "Erase it."

Jennet took another step back and started to tremble in fear. “I-”

"Let her keep it," a voice said.

Jennet flinched and glanced. She gasped. The same man whom she met inside the store stood not far from her. She glanced back at the reaper who distance itself from them.

Seeing the masked man, the reaper disappeared into the portal that soon vanished in seconds.

"Did you find what you've forgotten?" asked the mysterious masked man.

Jennet turned around, looking at him. "Uh, not yet. But, I'm going to look for it now."

She scooted back, trying to flee. But, the man noticed her intent. He chuckled.

"Why did you fear me?" he asked. "Have I hurt you?"
