“No, gosh!” Jennet exclaimed with a chuckle while thickening her face. “No one will laugh at you. I will defend you because you are my fr- I mean, my husband. Yes, you are my husband,” she added with a slight cough while smiling as she scratched her neck to hide the urge to laugh.

Hue eyed her with a sour expression. It was clear that he found it hard to believe in her words.

His sour face made Jennet change her expression. So, she said, “Come on. We need to hurry before the mall closes.” She pulled him out of the car and, he stepped out reluctantly.

Hue stood tall by her side while looking naturally elegant no matter how he dressed. He wore knee-length pants and a white shirt that fit his body. His long hair that was tied in a ponytail swayed dazzlingly behind him.

Honestly, that style suited him and, he was looking handsome than usual. The only oddness about him would be the furry slippers he had on.
