While travelling together, Harry brings up an important topic. He tells Elizabeth, "Manny and I are actually thinking about fighting against Joseph Scott for the Vacant English National Boxing Title. We are sure that I can be Joe Scott and I can become the English Champion, Beth". Elizabeth becomes furious with him suggesting this. She asks him, "What about retiring from boxing and being with me? I thought that was your plan. To retire and begin a life with me now that we're a married couple so to speak, sooner or later, we're going to be husband and wife. I can't have you fighting because it could kill you and I don't want that, I can't have that".
