Chapitre 530: We Need Heroes

The vibration was getting bigger and bigger. Now, only the second-stage thrusters were activated. Once the main thrusters were activated at the same time, the entire airliner would be carried into the atmosphere.

Wesley could only look forward to Superman's arrival. Otherwise, he would have to use Sir Black. Using Sir Black on the plane would inevitably expose his identity. It had to be known that all the superheroes here lived in anonymity. Once exposed, there would be endless trouble and problems, especially since Wesley used technological equipment. Such problems were even greater.

Without organization and fame behind him, Wesley might have to play hide-and-seek with the American army in the future. This would make him very angry. If he went too far, he did not know if the superheroes would fight him. He was still not sure if he was a match for Superman and Flash.

These two were the superheroes he dreaded the most, but they both had their weaknesses. Wesley was now considering what would happen if he used his weaknesses to defeat them, but his worries were somewhat unnecessary. Clark Kent was back, and as Superman he would not sit idly by, especially with Louise Lane on top of it.

An unidentified flying object was approaching at high speed. The American radar had found him, but because he was too fast, they could not determine what it was. The fighter plane responsible for escorting the airliner was notified. They were just about to see what it was when a black shadow flew past them.

Heavy footsteps sounded on the top of the plane. Wesley smiled at Louise and said, "It seems that Superman has appeared. We are really lucky. He has disappeared for a long time. Louise, did you notice that he will appear whenever you are in danger?"

Even Wesley could not read Louise's complicated expression. This must be the heart of a woman, right? Then the space shuttle separated from the airliner and Superman sent it into the universe, but the tail of the airliner was ignited by the jet of the space shuttle, and the plane now began to circle down, faster and faster.

The plane's emergency equipment was activated and the breathing mask came down. Everyone helped themselves to it, but Wesley did not use it. The situation was not a problem for him. He helped the commentator up and sat her in the empty seat beside him and helped her with her seat belt. She looked gratefully at Wesley.

The plane was still falling, and the pilot could not control the plane at all. At this time, Superman turned around and swooped down. His hands pushed the wings, trying to rebalance the plane, but the strength of the body was completely unbearable, and the wing on one side broke.

Then the plane fell even faster. Wesley was speechless. Isn't this Superman an expert? Why is he worse than Kayla? Why don't you put out the fire first and then hold the bottom of the plane? What are you doing with the wings?

The high-speed fall formed a huge resistance, and the wing on the other side fell off. The plane fell straight down like a thick stick. Now, Superman finally found a way to slow down with the nose of the plane.

Below was a baseball field. A game was in progress. The batter watched in silence as the baseball flew over and then waved his arms. The bat hit the baseball and the commentator shouted. The audience looked up at the baseball flying in the air. Was this a home run?

However, when everyone looked up, a plane with a burning tail and no wings was falling down. Everyone was stunned.

The result was good. The fuselage was placed smoothly on the baseball field, and all the audience burst into enthusiastic cheers. Then the door of the plane was opened, and Superman, wearing underwear outside, walked in. "How is everyone?" Superman asked.

Louise Lane unbuckled her seat belt in a daze and stood up. The two of them looked at each other for a long time without saying anything. Wesley took out his camera and took pictures of Superman.

"Are you okay?" Superman said to Louise Lane. The meaning is hard to imagine, especially since Louise Lane has always been like Superman's dedicated reporter, which makes many of her peers very jealous. "I hope everyone will not be afraid of flying in the future. Flying is still the safest way to travel on Earth." Then he will leave.

"Mr. Superman, can we talk in private?" Wesley suddenly said.

"Are you Mr. Reporter?" Superman asked when he saw Wesley.

"That's right. I'm a reporter, but I don't want to interview you now. I have some private matters to discuss." Wesley got up and pulled Superman into the plane's bathroom. The situation here was not bad, but it was a little damp.

Superman looked at Wesley strangely, and Wesley held out his hand. "Let me introduce myself. Wesley Gibson is from Nihonal City. Your cousin is my colleague."

"You?" Superman looked at Wesley in surprise.

"Kayla Danvers, you just came back, so you probably don't know. She's now the super girl of our city. I named her. She's worried about you. Since you're back, you should call her, Mr. Clark Kent."

"Okay, I'll call her. I didn't expect her to start a superhero event." Superman was happy. His cousin had the same idea as him.

"Yes, Kayla is very kind, but she's a little stupid. I'm here on business for two weeks and I don't know if she can handle it herself. In addition, I'll write a story about you coming back and at the same time I'll contact you about your relationship. After all, your clothes can come out. Is that okay?"

"Of course there's no problem. I'm happy to have your help. I'll come to you when I have time. Where do you live?"

"This is my hotel. Now you can go and receive the cheers. People have been waiting for you for a long time." Wesley patted Superman on the shoulder, then opened the door and went out. Everyone looked at this bold guy with envy.

Superman stood at the hatch of the plane. The audience who were watching the baseball game now shouted Superman loudly, and the people watching the news were also shouting crazily. Humans are like that. They always hope that they will be saved when they are in danger, and this is what Superman does.

On the way back to the Planet, Wesley was typing on his laptop while Louise Lane was in a daze. There was nothing Wesley could do about it, and he couldn't care less.

The Planet Daily News used to be a newspaper that specialized in reporting on Superman. Now, the editor-in-chief was gathering everyone. The word Superman would appear on all the pages. However, Louise Lane wanted to report on the blackout, but the editor-in-chief refused. This was their business and had nothing to do with Wesley. His report and photos had been sent back to Kayla.
