"They were comrades-in-arms with your father…" snapped Alicia. She had always believed that during the last Wizarding War, they would have gone to the relative safety of North America if they hadn't persuaded him to stay and fight against Lord Voldemort.

Ivan was curious and wanted to ask more questions, but Alicia changed the subject.

"I read in the papers that Dumbledore and Fudge jointly nominated you for the Order of Merlin, First Class?" Alicia wondered how Ivan managed to get two of the most powerful men in the wizarding community to nominate him.

"Ah, well…" Ivan could not possibly reveal his dark history of using Dumbledore's identity to write letters to the head of the Order of Merlin, nor could he simply pass it on to the old professor.

"It was Minister Fudge who suggested it! He felt that I had caught Peter, You-Know-Who's henchman, and rectified the Ministry's long-standing mistake, and was so grateful to me for my earlier contribution to the wizarding community that he persuaded Professor Dumbledore to nominate me…"

Ivan went on and on, and Alicia looked at him strangely, not believing a word he said.

Due to the need to deal with the Ministry of Magic in the future, Alicia has been asking Doggett about the Ministry of Magic, and it is clear that Fudge and Dumbledore do not get along.

Ivan shrugged. There was nothing that Alicia could do if she didn't believe him, but then he thought of something else and spoke with some resentment.

"Unfortunately, due to Ministry negligence, I managed to catch Peter Pettigrew and escape from Azkaban…"

At this, Ivan became angry. He had gone to great lengths to avoid Sirius's wrongdoings, but another important reason was that he did not want Peter to escape as he had in the original dimension.

Without Peter's help, Voldemort would not have been able to recover so quickly, and what he lacked most was time.

If he could drag it out for five to ten years, Ivan was confident that he would be able to surpass Voldemort in strength. At that time, even if the Dark Lord were to revive, he would be able to kill him!

"He's just a Death Eater. If he escapes, he escapes… There's still time to deal with him later!" Alicia comforted him.

Unlike Ivan, she did not care much for the whereabouts of a mere Death Eater.

In her opinion, Peter alone would not be able to do much, and the Dark Lord had been "dead" for more than ten years. He had lost all his power and was a thing of the past.

Ivan shook his head to himself, but did not argue. After more than a decade of peace, most people would have forgotten the urgency of war, and few would now want to believe that Lord Voldemort would soon return.

Ivan, however, did not regret his actions against Voldemort.

From the time he foiled Voldemort's plan to revive Lord Voldemort at the end of his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and abandoned the two Dungbombs, the relationship between him and Lord Voldemort had been extremely bad.

"By the way, Mom, what's going on in Knockturn Alley these days? Why are those people after Walker? I saw a lawman. Are they from the Wizard Market?" Ivan asked.

"You were right, they were the last of the resistance in Knockturn Alley!" Alicia nodded, then proceeded to explain the situation to Ivan.

Last night, she received news that Nott and several other heads of the pure-blood family were planning to gather on an estate to discuss how to deal with her.

After verifying the authenticity of the information, she brought a large number of people with her and prepared to launch a surprise attack on these people!

The final resistance? Ivan was a little surprised by Alicia's adjective, but he didn't think too much of it.

"So you're saying that the information you received was actually false, and that they were trying to lure you there, and that the real target was Walker and the others who stayed behind?" Yvonne suggested.

"That's right, but it's also wrong…" Alicia sighed. The news had been released on purpose, but the pure-blood family's leader was indeed in the manor. Otherwise, it would have been impossible to fool her.

However, the opposition was clearly prepared, and after a fierce battle, they did not gain any advantage other than capturing a member of the Notte family.

She then learned of the attack on Walker's team through her communication device and rushed there as fast as she could.

As for why these people wanted to capture Walker, Alicia believed it was to find out how he was able to transform so freely without the full moon.

After all, Fran and the others had shone in the previous battles. They had been able to suppress the other party, and these werewolves had contributed greatly to their victory!

Ivan smiled. He knew exactly how difficult a werewolf with his wits about him could be, or he wouldn't have limited the sale of modified wolfsbane potions.

Knock knock knock …

While Ivan was chatting with Alicia, there was a knock on the door.

Alicia frowned, annoyed that someone had interrupted her conversation with Ivan. Considering that it might be something important, she decided to change the subject.

"Come in!"

Crack …

She pushed the door open and saw a smiling Dougatt.

This forty-year-old man no longer had his usual unkempt appearance. His sparse brown hair had become thick and neatly combed back, indicating that he had been well groomed.

The rustic black and grey wizard's robe that he often wore had been replaced with a red and black robe. Most importantly, his spirit had changed greatly, and he seemed to be in high spirits.

It was only then that Ivan could see a hint of Doggett's youthful handsomeness in the portrait.

"Althea, little Ivan, I hope I'm not interrupting anything?" Dagget asked as he closed the door.

Alicia shook her head against her will and then said, "What happened to the prisoners? Were they willing to talk?"

"Those Dark Wizards were very straightforward. They told me everything I needed to know, and they were crying and begging to join us. It seems that Ivan scared the living daylights out of them!" Douggart said, glancing at Ivan.

"Ivan, how on earth did you do that? They say that after killing three people, you transformed into a Dementor and charged at them, then transformed into a giant six or seven meters tall…"

During the interrogation, Doggett almost thought they were talking nonsense.

"Is it the effect of the Fear Charm?" Alicia guessed. She was so curious that she had forgotten to ask.

"No!" Ivan shook his head, deciding not to hide the fact that the blood magic was out in the open. "How shall I put it, I am a special Animagus, capable of transfiguration at will!"

Ivan left out the matter of blood magic, stating it in a more understandable manner.

"Aniagos?" Alicia looked at Ivan in bewilderment.

She naturally knew that there was a certain level of danger involved in learning this advanced Transfiguration technique. Even she had not mastered it, but Ivan had already succeeded?

However, she had the impression that most wizards and witches who used the Animagus Transfiguration would only be able to take on the form of an animal.

"So you really did turn into a Dementor and a giant?" said Doggett. He had been under the impression that Ivan had bewitched them somehow.

Ivan shook his head and sighed. "It's not that bad. It's just a prototype!" He knew very well that unless he truly fused the blood of these two magical creatures, he would only be able to restore part of their characteristics with a large amount of magic.

Doggett was speechless. From the information he got out of Ivan, Ivan was immune to magic when he transformed into a Dementor. When he transformed into a giant, he smashed a section of the street wall with a single slap.
