Chapitre 316: Reversing Time and Space!

"Is it dangerous?" Hermione pursed her lips.

"Right!" said Ivan, nodding.

"All the more reason why you shouldn't take the risk alone. I'll be of at least a little help, and—" Hermione began, but Ivan didn't give her a chance to speak.

There was a flash of white light, and the witch fell back into her chair, the book falling from her hand.

Yvonne tapped the chair and turned it into a large sofa so Hermione could lie comfortably on it.

"Sorry, go back to sleep!"

Ivan removed the Time-Turner from Hermione's hand, found an empty spot, and prepared to begin his plan.

He needed to go back a hundred days!

In other words, he would have to go around 2,400 times!

Nothing must go wrong during this period!

If he rotated too few times, he would miss the attack on the Dark Arts shop, and if he rotated too many times, he would likely die before the attack even knew he was there.

Therefore, Ivan intended to return twelve hours before the attack on Ethiopia!

There would be plenty of time to prepare, and they would not be unlucky enough to be kicked back to their original time point within twelve hours.

Ivan, however, looked at the Time-Turner in his hand, which was glowing with magical fluorescence, and wondered if the Time-Turner in his hand could support him spinning so many times.

However, at this point, Ivan believed that he had to try, and there was not much time left. Every day he waited at Hogwarts was another twenty-four rounds.

Today may be our best chance!

Without hesitation, Ivan slipped the Time-Turner on and began spinning the hourglass.

One lap…two laps…

The scene around them re-solidifies, and as the hourglass spins rapidly backwards, everything seems to move away,

Ivan focused all of his attention on the hourglass, silently counting the number of revolutions.

From one to a hundred to a thousand…

Ivan slowed the spinning as much as possible to avoid making a mistake.

After what seemed like an eternity, Ivan's senses and mind were affected to varying degrees, and he finally stopped after another round.

Everything returned to normal, and Ivan was relieved to see that the Time-Turner was working.

Ivan went to the window in the corridor and looked down. It was only early morning, but it was already busy outside.

This confirmed to Ivan that he had come at the right time.

After all, it was the end of the school year, and the kids at school did not have to go to class to get ready to go home, so they naturally liked to wander around in the morning.

"Dobby!" Yvonne snapped her fingers reflexively, ready for Dobby to lead her to Knockturn Alley.

Nothing happened, though…

It occurred to Ivan that Dobby was not at Hogwarts today because he needed help selling snake fangs and potions.

"I should have asked Dobby to take me to Knockturn Alley before I used the Time-Turner!" Ivan shook his head, thinking he had miscalculated.

Although he also knew how to perform Transfiguration, due to his relatively low-level Charms, teleporting from Hogsmeade to Knockturn Alley required at least eighty to ninety percent of his magic.

If possible, Ivan still wanted to keep himself as strong as possible in case of possible battles.

Fortunately, it was still early, and Ivan put on the Cloak of Invisibility to try and catch a Thestrals to ride on as he flew to London.

With the help of the Cloak of Invisibility, Ivan was able to move through Hogwarts with ease, as if there was no one there.

However, he ran into some trouble in his search for thestrals, and was unable to find any of them after wandering through half of the Forbidden Forest.

Could it be that all of thestrals had been sent to pull carts, and there was not a wild one?

Ivan was more or less resigned, and was about to try to think of something else when a clear eagle cry sounded in the distance.

Ivan turned his head curiously to see a hippogriff with reddish-brown feathers gnawing on the remains of a broken animal.

Perhaps sensing Ivan's gaze on it, the red-brown hippogriff chomped off a large chunk of meat, then turned to stare at Ivan with its orange eyes and let out an uneasy neigh.

Gone was the meekness of the last time they met…

Or perhaps this was their first real meeting!

Yvonne seemed to understand, as she recalled the steps Hagrid had taught her to tame Hippogriffs.

The reddish-brown beast let out a cry and looked anxiously at the young wizard in front of it.

It could sense that Ivan was in great danger, but was too proud to back down, and kept pawing the sand in an uneasy fashion…

Ivan realised this and stopped approaching, bowing his head slightly in acknowledgement.

The red-brown beast hesitated, but did not respond.

However, when Ivan approached again, the Hippogriff relented and slowly bent its scaly forelegs in an unmistakable bow.

Ivan tries to touch the creature's head, and this time the Hippogriff doesn't resist, letting Ivan stroke it…

"Here, drink this. It's going to be a long journey, so be prepared!" Ivan said as he took a bottle of the potion out of his wizard robes and held it to her mouth.

The Hippogriff's trust in Ivan was limited, but it still took a small sip, and then its orange eyes lit up, and it let out a clear cry of joy and drank all the potions!

Ivan threw on the Cloak of Invisibility and mounted the hippogriff. After a moment's thought, he tapped the hippogriff with his wand and chanted the Disillusionment Charm.

In an instant, the beautiful brownish-red beast vanished from Ivan's sight.

"I feel like I'm riding air…" Ivan couldn't help but complain, then commanded the hippogriff to take off!

The beast beneath him spread its twelve-foot-long wings and gave a powerful shake, sending dust flying in all directions. The hippogriff flew into the air…

Despite the lack of reins, Ivan was able to sit comfortably, as it was easier than riding Norbert.

"Go! Do you see the tracks in the distance? Just follow the end and fly! As fast as you can!" Ivan patted the hippogriff's neck to show it the way…

[PS: Requesting subscriptions, monthly tickets… Also, let's talk about the third volume. Even before the first volume opened, the angel had a feeling that the book's results were going to fall quite a bit. As it turned out, the number of subscriptions for the first half of the month had dropped to one-third of its original level.

Admittedly, this is not the only solution, but it is absolutely the clearest way to tell the story and show the charm of each character to the greatest extent. After countless weighing the pros and cons, the angel finally decided to continue writing like this despite the pressure. No matter how bad the results are, it will stick to the daily updates, so please have more patience and support… Thank you!]
