I cleared my throat breaking everyone from their daze. Weirdly, they all got lost staring at the man they were not meant to stare at. He knows what he does and he enjoys doing it. Elena and her girls were done dolling me up and they left the room bowing their heads in unison. I was left all alone with this monster.

I picked up my purse, studied myself once more before the mirror, and headed toward the door... "Hazel." He called the moment my hands touched the door handle, my heart skipped at this and I couldn't understand why it always reacted this way. I turned around to meet his gaze only to see Alex already so close to me, this was totally so awkward.

He closed the gap between us placing both his hands by my side, trapping me to the door.
