Chapitre 43: Chapter- 43 Eva's day out.......
David strongly ordered Eva that she should not get involved, but Eva is not one of those who sits calm..
She was going back from the office room , but her phone rang, it was the detective, she lifted the phone,
"hello ma'am ,I tried all my sources to find clues , but the picture you gave me is very rare, after a lot of efforts, I could find one jeweller who knew something about that , can we meet? ", he asked.
" ok fine I'll meet you at the coffee shop near my hospital, when can you come ? " she said.
"I'll be there in thirty minutes," he said.
Eva was super excited to find a new clue, and went to the coffee shop, after a few minutes, that man came . Eva asked him , " so what is that ,you wanted to tell me... "
he kept some papers on the table before her and said, " it is a picture of a rare blue diamond pendant , only one jeweller knows about this, It was on demand imported item , only four people bought it till now, here are the details of the buyers, you can have a look, I need to return these, "
she frantically took those papers, and started reading, but all the four names were different from those that she suspected even though, she took a snap of those papers.
She gave him money and said, "good job, but your job is not over yet,"
She took her phone and sent some pictures to his phone and said," that's Serra , I want each and every detail about her , you'll be paid double if you do it immediately, "
Of course it was a very good offer for him , so he said, "ok ma'am just give me one day and I'll get back to you same place . bye," he walked away from there.
Eva was hoping that there will be some connection between, the pendant 's owner and Era's case. But unfortunately she got nothing but disappointment. She stared at the pics in her phone, and tried to read but those names were like a foreign language for her, no one familiar, she decided find something about them in her day out. She sat there for some time and then was about to leave,but
"hey gorgeous", a man's bold voice resonated in her ears, very near that her heart pondered , she turned aside, it was Ben , he was at an inch distance from her smiling, she shudder at once and her phone slipped, he caught it and put it on the table. Eva stood up and was ready to leave, he said," hey I thought we're going to have lunch here, ....shall we?"
"no way" she said,
Ben took out his phone and pretend to call someone and said ,"hi David, let's have lunch in the cafe outside, I wanted to tell you a lot about the girl who was with me last night,....",
Eva jumped on him and closed his mouth furiously and said ,"I am gonna kill you Ben....",
It was so near , her hairs were tingling his cheek, that made Ben's heart flutter and his bright face turned red, she went back to her place
,"so now, what do you want to eat Mr Ben?" she asked him,
" not here," he said and grabbed her hand and scooted from there,
He took her to a different place, it was a Chinese restaurant with traditional Chinese interior designs, peaceful and simple words, very beautiful, he booked a cabin there and took her inside ,
he said, "I love Chinese food and I just wanted to bring you here "
They started serving and the dishes looked very nice and delicious, they started eating , Eva was enjoying the meal happily, it was upto her taste, and Ben was enjoying his beloved girl eating a meal with him happily, he noticed, she had some souce on her lips. He came forward and touched her lips to clean it with a tissue, Eva was astonished, he took the chance to kiss her but Eva kept her hands on her face stopping him, he stopped .. smiled and then kissed on her hands and sat back in his seat and said ," you do make it hard for me everytime",
"and you take a chance everytime", she said.
They both had their meal , Ben kept staring at her and she was like sitting on a heater, she finished it very fast and stood up ," let's go," she said.
Ben realised that she is panicked and may she doesn't like him that much, so he kept silence. They both drove back to hospital, Eva's mind was confused , she was wondering on how to find the pendant owner and Ben was in his own confusions.
After reaching there, Eva got down the car , Ben was sitting with a dull face and didn't say anything, not even a bye ,
before leaving,Eva bent to see him through the window and said
," so Mr Ben when you take the chance next time, please inform me, ...bye"
he didn't understand, but thinking that for a minute and finally he got it and was very excited, but Eva already went in, laughing at his confused face. He went
David was still thinking about the phone call he got, and what she said.
"so according to her, Era had, a habit of writing a notes on whatever she learns, yes,... she does... but where can I find those,.... her belongings, I kept in my store room may in them ...but I need help to sort things out, so who?....or .....who else?", he took his phone and called Eva, and asked her to come to Era's room.
She thought that David might have got some clue and excitedly ran to Era's room.
when she get in , he was about to leave the room,
" come with me," he said,
"but where are we going, sir?" she asked,
"You can never obey without asking",he said
" that's because you never say before doing," she answered.
he looked at her annoyingly and said " just let's go I'll explain later",
He took her to his house, they both got off the car and went up, Eva was still waiting for the explanation, but , he said nothing...so her patience came to an end , she asked curiously, " sir why are we here? "
he stared at her,
" you said you'll explain but I couldn't hear anything",she said slowly.
He said, " Eva , do you know, you are the most annoying person I ever met, let me get in , please",
Eva kept silent, he opened the door and she followed him, he suddenly stopped, and as usual she bumped into him, he turned back and sighed ," when will you learn to walk properly?",
she hung her head down, and said ," sorry sir",
He told her to sit and went in, Eva saw around, it was a big house, everything was neatly arranged , she thought why handsome men are always neat freaks , she was in her thoughts, there was sound, she turned back, he was coming with three huge cartons , she wondered what task he'll give to her now.
He kept them, down on the ground and went back, she peeped in one of the carton those were filled with files and notes, she feared, " oh no is he going to tell me to study all these, I'll grow old , here at his place by the time I finish one of the carton", ...she was murmuring to herself , he came out with another carton and a ladies bag..... Eva wondered , 'ladies bag whose bag that could be....then she understood, it is only one possibility....these may be , Era's belongings".
