Ted continued to introduce the fortress through the day. He was a very polite and honest person.
Of course, Licht liked him for that reason. He even got his personal number and personal name card.
Finally, they have reached their last destination. It was a hotel which looked decent from the outside. There was no drunkard nor some kind of shady looking person near the street.
Ted pointed to the hotel and smiled.
" Just tell them my name. They will give you a little discount. Please go to the governor hall next morning. You have to get your pass card. Otherwise, you have to pay another 2 silver coins, which is costly."
Licht looked at him with gratitude. He patted his shoulder and took out another silver coin.
" Ted, thank you. Here is my heartfelt gratitude. You are an honest man. We will meet again."
Ted couldn't refuse his kindness because he was in a hard situation. He took it with respect and waved his hand. He somehow felt that they would see each other often from now on.
Licht walked to the hotel with a calm look on his face. The street wasn't that bustling because night was approaching and everyone was either at home or at a hotel.
Light*
The magical lamps illuminated the streets brightly. Licht touched it with curiosity because he never saw this before. This odd looking metal rod had 2 lamps on each side which can light the ground up to 10 meters.
" I never saw this before. So, this is the magic science. What a fascinating thing!"
Licht looked like a curious child. He looked around and saw other magical stuffs. Especially, buildings were lit up like there was a sun in there.
Licht was thrilled to see such things because there were limited types of magical devices in the rural area. He only heard them through either the other's mouth or book.
Open*
Licht opened the door carefully and went inside. The hotel was very clean and spacious inside. The reservation table was in the front, while the dining area was in the back. It was 4 stories high building with approximately around 20 rooms in total.
Ding*
A middle-aged woman came out from the back. She was wearing an apron with light clothes.
" Oh my, aren't you a handsome traveler? Welcome to ' Warm Hug'. How can I help you?"
Licht liked the name. It sounded a comfy place to be.
" Hello. I want a single room for a few days with meals."
The woman smiled and wrote down something on the notebook.
Tear*
She teared a small piece of paper and handed to him with a key.
" Your room number is 306. You can find it next to the stairs. Remember, our meal time is 7 am to 8 am, 12 pm to 1pm and 8 pm to 9pm. Other than that, you have to pay extra."
Licht nodded and looked at the paper. Surprisingly, the owner wrote it on the paper with clear lines of explanation. Honestly, this wasn't that much necessary, but she wrote it out of her kindness.
" Thank you, miss."
Owner laughed and winked at him. She was amused to see such a cute fellow like Licht who had no idea about bad thoughts.
" It is alright. Call me Miss Johnson. My husband is the cook, and you will probably see him soon. He is a very busy person because our customers loves his cooking."
Suddenly, Licht had recalled Ted's words.
" By the way, Ted had recommended me to this place. He said you had the best service."
Miss Johnson chuckled when she heard this. Her face brightened up because Ted was her cousin. She regarded Ted as the kindest person because of his personality.
" Don't worry about paying extra, then. Ted's friends are my friends. My husband would love to hear that Ted's friend is here."
Licht couldn't tell that he wasn't that close Ted. Miss Johnson continuously blurted out Ted's stories as it was live, and it impressed Licht. Licht never thought Ted would be a knight cadet in the knight order. Becoming a knight cadet was difficult as catching a star from the sky. Especially, Windsor was notorious about being one of the hardest to get in the order.
