Chapitre 41: Kindness

"Here," Ken said, handing Nessa a plate of food, which she gladly accepted.

"Thank you," She replied, and he smiled at her as they all began to eat and chat around the campfire whose bright orange color reflected in their eyes, and she smiled as she looked at it and Akio eating beside her.

Nessa knew not to trust strangers, but because they were assisting her, she was willing to open up a little.

While eating, Nessa noticed Skiro and Ken looking at her, and she scoffed, knowing they had more questions about her and she sighed.

"What do you want to know?" They looked at her when she asked.

"I know we'd just be prying, but curiosity can be a dangerous thing at times," Ken responded, and Nessa chuckled.

"It's fine, I'll tell you this, I'm going to Mascra because of a friend and I have a difficult piece of business to take care of there, don't know if it'll be possible but I have to give it a try," She said as they exchanged glances.
