Elsa's mouth would drop open in shock every time she recalled what Bondan had said. Even though she and Karin didn't get to meet the dog, Elsa now knows for sure that Karin is getting married soon. Hearing that Karin is getting married is enough to make Elsa suspicious, even though she has no idea who she will end up with.
"Don't tell me, Rin, that you're going to marry the demon lord!" When Elsa realized that her voice was too loud, she quickly put her hand over her mouth.
Karin, who had been keeping quiet during all the commotion Elsa had produced, became upset in the end. An irritated expression crossed her face as she looked at Elsa. It was foolish of Elsa to put her faith in Bondan's statements. His intention may have been to frighten Karin. Elsa, on the other hand, looked more happy with her prediction that Karin would become the demon lord's wife.
"Come to think about it, why did he have to say that? Why don't you ask him who he meant by "Master"?" Elsa joked that she was still trying to think of all the possibilities.
"Whatever, El."
"Could it be that Master sent the dog?"
"What do you mean?"
"Perhaps Master told the dog to take care of you. You are a very special bride-to-be."
"I can't be the devil's bride," Karin shook her head firmly.
"Rin!" Elsa yelled, and Karin stopped walking. She stood in front of Karin and put both hands on her best friend's shoulders.
"You're in danger if you're the demon lord's bride. Remember Erna? She hasn't returned."
"I can't be their bride, El. What do they want from someone like me? They are rich, powerful, and immortal. They want a beautiful girl like Erna, not me."
Elsa found Karin's explanation to be reasonable. Elsa has known Karin since she was a child, therefore she is well aware of the difficulties facing Karin's family, who must rely only on the income from Albert's modest shop. The loss of her father left Karin responsible for providing for her mother, who showed no signs of wanting to live.

Erik and his girlfriend made a point of walking close through the front of Karin's class this morning. But Karin, who clearly does not care about Erik, acted as coldly as ever.
Erik, clearly irritated, kicked Karin's desk out of nowhere, ignoring the horrified expressions of her classmates. Erik saw Karin's expressionless face and immediately ditched his girlfriend to go to Karin.
"Rin! What exactly do you want?! "cursed Erik. Erik was the most popular and attractive boy in school, so no one was brave enough to bother him when he was talking to girls.
"What?"
"Is this a joke? You know I like you, so you're embarrassing me, right?"
"Rik, I told you..."
"Tell me who you like. WHO KARIN?!"
"KARIN!!" Elsa yelled very loudly in front of the door to the classroom. Everyone in the class turned right away to look at her.
"What's wrong El?"
"The black-suited men who took Erna want to take you!"
It's unbelievable to everyone. Even Erik, who just minutes before had been completely preoccupied with Karin, now became quite modest. In other words, he fully understood what Elsa meant. They were the servants of demon who had been given the task of bringing the bride to meet her groom.
"Karin Nevada," said a man in a black coat who had been in front of the class for a while. He looked very wise, even though he was old and had gray hair. He gave Karin a smile. On either side of the old man were two other men in black suits. He took a step toward Karin, who was still stunned and trying to figure out what was going on.
"We finally meet again. You're an adult now," He said, smiling.
"Who are you?" Karin asked.
"I'm James. I'm Mr. Katon's assistant," the old man said, putting out his hand.
"Who is Mister Katon?" Still, Karin didn't want to shake hands. She has a lot of unanswered questions.
James smiled at Karin and then at Elsa and Erik, who were standing next to Karin.
"Your future husband, Katon Bagaskara," James smiled.
"Katon Bagaskara?" Elsa muttered quietly.
"Karin, today is the day. We'll drive you home so you can say goodbye to your mom "said James. "By the way, I'm sorry about the death of your father."
"Wait! So... Is this my last day with Karin?" Elsa knew what was really going on, so she grabbed Karin's hand and held on tight.
"That's Karin's destiny, Miss... Elsa."
"Are you really going to hurt her?"
"How could we hurt the wife of our Master?"
"Karin, you're not going, are you?" Elsa asked Karin.
"I'm not going anywhere," she said.
When James heard Karin's answer, he said, "Your only choice is to marry Mr. Katon."
"But I have the right to say no," said Karin. James didn't expect Karin's reaction, so he told his two subordinates to immediately take Karin away.
Elsa cried out, "Rin, Karin!" over and over again. Erik does everything he can to stop Elsa from running after Karin, who has gotten lost.

"I don't want to marry someone I don't know," said Karin when they were in Karin's house.
Laksita opened the door when she heard the crowd from inside her room. She was so shocked when she saw James. She ran into James' body and screamed like a crazy person because she was so angry.
"Not my daughter! My one treasure!"
"Laksita, Karin has no choice. Mr. Katon has wanted her since she was in your womb."
"What? What does this mean?" asked Karin.
"It seems like your parents never told you about this, did they, Karin?" asked James. "Since he found out Laksita was pregnant with you, Mr. Katon, the heir to the Bagaskara noble family, has chosen you as his bride," said James. "You have no choice but to follow orders, don't you know that as a citizen of Alfansa?"
"Why would Katon choose me?"
"Only Mr. Katon knows why," James said after a moment of silence.
"But I don't want to be away from my mother."
"We need you to come with us."
"No. I'm not going to leave my mom."
"You want to kill your mother?" James walked over to Karin. When Karin heard James's question, she looked surprised.
"Do you know what happened to your father?" James spoke slowly. "Because taking care of Mr. Katon's bride-to-be is a tough job. I asked Albert to pick you up early at that time, but he said no. Men will be drawn to you so much that they will lose their minds and do crazy things, like kill your father. Do you want her to end up tragically like your father if you stay selfish and want to be with your mother?"
"But I've always been safe because my dad looked out for me."
"Thanks to Mr. Katon," James said quickly. "Now it's up to you, Karin. Do you choose to go with us right away to keep your mother safe, or do you let her die to keep yourself safe?"
Karin did not respond. Once the men began fighting over her, she realized her life would never be the same. But she never suspected that any of it had anything to do with her becoming Katon Bagaskara's future wife.
