House Aurellion's Lost Heirlooms: (Inheritable Dynasty Quest)
Quest Description: Your mother was a well-known warrior who wielded two mithril axes, though your house lost these axes when she died trying to escape Chavaria as her last remaining direct descendent, these are rightfully yours however, were taken from her corpse by an unknown noble.
Mithril is a very rare mineral that only the dwarves know how to use properly to forge some of the strongest weapons and armour in the world, making them invaluable. Even the rulers of nations struggle to get their hands on these powerful tools of war.
As the descendent of a dwarven noble house, your mother had her own set of mithril weapons that should have been passed on to her children; however, she was killed in battle and could not be recovered, leading them to be lost to your dynasty.
You may freely give up this quest at any time.
Quest Clear Conditions: regain your mother's weapons from those who looted them.
Quest Clear Reward: An extremely powerful set of weapons that can be passed down through your bloodline.
Quest Failure Penalty: except for the almost certain permanent loss of the weapons and your claim on them, there are no penalties for failing this quest.
….
The Stigma of a Traitor: (Inheritable Dynasty Quest)
Quest Description: Your noble house has been declared a traitor by its mother nation. While backstabbing is considered a part of the course in the murky world of politics, those noble houses who partake in things like betrayal are not easily forgotten and can make it harder for you to gain a new lieges trust.
While many doubt that House Aurellion truly betrayed the Chavarian Empire but because those who know the truth of the matter have taken the side of the Chavarian emperor, others have no choice but to be suspicious of you, making it harder for you to join other factions or nations.
Quest Clear Conditions: show your house is capable of loyalty or find a way to clear your house's name in the world's view.
Quest Clear Rewards: Loss of the Inheritable Dynasty Trait 'Accused Traitor.'
Quest Failure Penalty: The Inheritable Dynasty Trait 'Accused Traitor' will become the Inheritable Dynasty Trait 'Known Disloyal House.'

Railius looked over the other quests he was given while he was transported out of the game with a confused expression as these quests did not seem like they were related to dynasty history quests at all; instead, they appeared like quests related to the main yet unreleased game.
"Hey, friend system, why do these quests look like they belong to the main game that will be released in a few days?"
Railius asked into the familiar sea of clouds that every player who was currently going through the dynasty history system returned to after every dynasty history event and was intimately familiar with to receive both their rewards for completion and assignment of their next event.
"Because they are quests that are linked to the main game, I must also congratulate you, for now, your dynasty will not be eradicated anymore if you fail an event well, that is, as long as you don't do something stupid like the fight against someone you can't win against."
The friend system said, only increasing the confusion that Railius felt when he received these quests as he was under the impression that there were going to be more than just two dynasty history events, even if the ones he had to face were far harder than those faced by many of his fellow players.
"Your dynasty has faced events which are far harder and have far more terrible consequences than almost every other player who has joined."
"Saying that you have been treading on thin ice for the past two events would be an understatement."
"If even one of your choices were different, whether it was in your choice of rewards after your first dynasty history event or in how you dealt with all the trials that came your way during them, then the outcome for your dynasty could have been far worse in so many ways."
"To be honest, it's a miracle that your dynasty was not eradicated, let alone managing to keep the core of its strength intact."
The friend system mechanical voice said sincerely for the future was a fickle thing, something that even the smallest decisions can change as every action has a consequence and the potential to create new unforeseen enemies for you. It is for this reason that familial execution was a widespread punishment for the worst of crimes because killing someone's father could lead to a grudge that could come to haunt you, so to ensure no weeds grow back to hurt, you must eradicate them even if there is some collateral damage along the way.
"So you're saying I don't have any more dynasty history events left?"
Railius asked with suspicion.
"I never said that, but at least your dynasty won't be destroyed well as long as you don't go and try to kill a king or something. Your main character is not even 18 yet, after all."
The friend system said.
"I also have one last question for you."
"Was Vice Count Tyre Vask a player?"
Railius said with a serious expression, the usual carefree smile that he gave to the world replaced with a cold pursing of his lips. Not many would ever see this side of the young player as to most of the DO world; he would seem to be an annoying, carefree man who planned well, never knowing that beneath that relaxed exterior was a pragmatist capable of the most ruthless actions.
Even Railius' moral system, which demands him to keep his promises and be loyal to his friends and subjects, was born from this ruthless pragmatism, using righteousness as a weapon against his many opponents in the future to raise armies and keep their loyalty.
The silence that followed lasted for several seconds and was unusual for Railius' interactions with the friend system, which was usually one of fast responses. The pause only confirmed his suspicion, as was the answer of the friend system.
"What does that have to do with anything?"
The Friend system asked. Its voice, which was usually emotionless, seemed to radiate an icy coldness that Railius did not expect from an administrative AI that should only be concerned with the game.
"Nothing but silence and ambiguous response is confirmation enough."
"Though I am interested in whether his dynasty is still alive, I know Wurgoth's isn't, as I personally put a dagger through his heart, though I am sure he will create a new one and come after me for I cannot kill him in the real world but it will take him a while to catch up to me so I should have at least an in-game decade without having to deal with him."
Railius said, his scheming smile taking the Friend System completely off-guard. Only a few biologicals were capable of using his responses to come to a correct conclusion, but those were few and far between, and the young player in front of him was obviously one of these. Each of them was carefully monitored by the friend system as all were likely to become people of significant influence in the game sometime in the future.
While it was a given that people would eventually find out that most dynasty history events had two or more players in them, this was not knowledge that the friend system or the creator of the game, James Larant, wanted out in the public eye for now, for it would change how players approached the game. James wanted to reward those observant players who noticed it, like Reginald, who used his knowledge of Wurgoth's player status to manipulate him into attacking his ally in the bloody Battle of Brunag.
"You will have to find out whether House Vask still lives yourself when you enter the game properly."
"But what makes you think that Wurgoth's dynasty is destroyed?"
"He could have had a descendent back in his kingdom that he can try to do dynasty history quests with in the future."
The friend system said, casting doubt on what Railius thought was a done deal before now as he was under the impression that because his dynasty was on the line, then so too must Wurgoths be, for that would only be fair after all. The only reason he had even asked about Vice Count Tyre Vask was that he could not end that man's life himself, as they had opposite goals, and he was focused more on his escaping and his dynasty's survival than dealing with future problems.
There was no point in dealing with future problems if your dynasty had no future in the first place, but considering that his dynasty was on the line in the last dynasty history event while Tyre's wasn't forced him to reevaluate the so-called confirmed death of his old enemy's bloodline as it was almost guaranteed that despite losing their quest House Vask was still around and kicking to make problems for him in the future.
"The reason is simple: you said if I died in any of my events, my dynasty would be destroyed, so I imagine it is that way for everyone. After all, while Lucius died, I was not playing him when he did, which seems to confirm this hypothesis, am I right?"
Railius said with a smile, using all of his experience with Boreas to gain what sliver of insights he could from the words of the system to come to logical conclusions even if he got the short end of the stick in that case, it did not mean that the young player was not willing to learn from that damn cunning old birdman.
It felt good to finally outsmart the system that had tyrannical control over the game.
"While I am sure you have many questions, aren't getting your quest rewards more important?"
The friend system asked, wanting to change the topic as another bunch of system notifications appeared in front of Railius to distract him from his line of thinking, which was correct.

[Option 1: Increase the Negotiation skill to the intermediate level]
[Option 2: Increase the Intelligence attribute by 1]
[Option 3: Increase the Charisma attribute by 1]
[Option 4: Permanently have Railius gain the Politics skill at the amateur level]
This seemed a bit off to Railius, who was expecting a bigger reward for his efforts as if it was not enough for him to have 1 grandmaster, 1 master fighter and 600 elite troops that can easily fight an army three times their number as long as it was not comprised of some of the best troops in the game.
He had a place for him to grow in peace where most of his enemies would struggle to get to him. It was also likely that when the next and possible final dynasty history event came along, many of the other 1000 Pelican Guards left in his family's old territory in the empire would reunite with him alongside their families, increasing his power any further.
If anyone, even the friend system, knew that he was complaining about not getting enough despite having all of this, then they would want to break all his greedy bones! He already held military power that could rival vice count, more likely a count once the other 1000-odd men joined him without having even one spec of land to defend.
Many counts didn't even have a grandmaster in their service or a unique unit, let alone both. Even Ancel didn't have a unique unit and was a duke! So, wanting too much more before even entering the main game would indeed be too much.
After much pondering, the young player decided to increase both his charisma and vitality attributes by one. Because if his experiences in the game have taught him anything, it is that while skills like politics are important, your ability to reason and attributes are more critical for each point can affect the outcome of many skills and situations instead of 1 skill which had a limited preview in what it could do and vitality would increase his health making him harder to kill and in a world as dangerous as DO every bit of HP was needed.
While intelligence was vital because it increased your mana and ability to upgrade and gain skills, Railius thought that increasing charisma would be more challenging than reading a bunch of books to increase intelligence because even if he gained more mana, it was better to persuade someone not to fight than spend mana on spells to defeat them.
'The pen is mightier than the sword' is not an expression that came out of nowhere!'
He was also interested in this 'Dynasty Secret System' but wanted to focus on his rewards before trying to learn more about it.
Either way, after making his decision, he finally got his final and biggest reward for successfully completing the event.
