Chapitre 16: His little plaything

After what happened the day she tried to escape, Laura has been a very good girl, she listens to whatever Alex says and does what he asked.

Today like usual he had gone for his business and locked the girl inside his room. Her lunch was brought to her room by a maid called Penelope, she has been the one taking care of Laura.

"Good afternoon Laura, I brought you lunch." The both of them have become good friends, when Alex is at home, she calls her mom but when he is not, she calls her by her name.

"Thank you, Penelope, would you like to join me?" the maid shook her head, this will be stepping out of boundaries if she eats with her.

"Sorry, Laura, I can't do that. I have to go, I have some other chores to do, I'll be back later to collect the plate." Laura nodded with a sigh, she was happy to have a friend but what's the use if the friend can't feel free around her?
