It was a gloomy day. The sky was overcast and my skin felt sticky and icky. Which I hated. It was good that I was indoors. Rather, it was good that I was back inside Dex's office.
Duncan had to leave to travel to another region in the Philippines. He and Zeus were apparently partners when it came to hotels and stuff. Colin and the twin wolves had departed this morning, leaving Fujin with the kids. The good thing was that my sister would also stay with us from now on.
"Juls," Dexter called me, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked back at him and noticed that he had a worried look in his eyes. "Are you okay?"
I sigh. And glanced at the door wondering if it was locked.
"You do know that this office is soundproof, right? This and Mike's. And those are two-way glass. The door automatically locks too. So spill, Juls. What's bothering you?"
