Chapitre 165: moving out (3)

The next morning arrived. Esmeralda woke up and found herself in a foreign place. For a moment, she forgot that she had moved out of her house. She left the bed and after freshening up, she went downstairs to find it empty. There was not a single human in sight. She thought of calling Ethan but then changed her mind. She recalled that he had given her a tour of this place and she decided to navigate the huge place and see for herself what she could not yesterday. The penthouse had an amazing view but she felt alone there. 

As she walked to the kitchen area, she saw a woman who seemed to be in a maid's dress setting food on the table. This person was dressed in a maid uniform from the 1950s. Esmeralda inwardly rolled her eyes. These rich people really were too fancy, weren't they? Whatever! Atleast, there was one human in sight. 

"Hey?" Esmeralda called her.
