Chapitre 47: Chapter 47: Hardest Decision

The next couple of hours were the definition of hell to Scott. He didn’t wait to see what would happen to Pearl, but Luke came to him with all the information a while later whilst Scott was still waiting for news about Florence. She had been taken to the emergency room, but he couldn’t come inside with her. And it never hurt so badly to wait for news like now.

Luke told him that Pearl was taken to the police station, and he’d have to come by to give his statement as a witness whenever he could. Scott would definitely do such a thing, and hopefully Florence as well, as soon as she was out of risk and able to speak again.

While he waited, Noah, Isabella, and Liam also arrived at the hospital, and Scott could barely lift his head to look at them, especially Florence’s parents. He had already made them a promise that he’d protect their daughter no matter what, and again he had failed them.
