It never occurred to Florence that planning a wedding would be so hard. She heard women mentioning it before, but she never took it seriously. Now she could relate completely to them. And she wasn’t even going to have a fairytale wedding. She was sticking to what Scott had said; they would have an intimate ceremony.
After weeks of planning it with Scott, they decided it’d be better not to invite anyone else other than their families and closest friends.
Even so, all that planning was taking too much of her time and making her anxious. She could barely sleep during the night, and while at work, she couldn’t focus on anything without remembering something she had to deal with.
It was time-consuming and exhausting. She just wished they could get over it as soon as possible, so she could go back to her peaceful life. Now she would be able to finally enjoy it a bit more without having to worry too much about money. She was looking forward to it, she couldn’t deny it.
