"Mrs. Lucas, Mr. Lucas will soon be home," the maid said to Wendy respectfully. "He said that he'll be accompanying you on your walk."

"Alright," Wendy said as she nodded.

After that, Wendy helped Zen to the living room. They sat down on the couch and waited for Christian to return.

"Wendy, don't you see that Christian is really nice to you?" Zen said softly.

"Is that so?" Wendy mumbled softly.

Wendy did not think that was the case. She did not think that Christian stopped her from going out because he was worried about her safety. Rather, he wanted to keep her under his control.
