Chapitre 64: A deal

Since things has come to this, Himiko decided to go straight to the point.

The Prophetess was already forcing her hand and looked even disinterested in the deal.

She looked like she didn't care about negotiating for her freedom anymore, making her look like the only one that needed help more.

That was not a good feeling.

"I agree to your request if only I bear a son."

"Then we have a deal," the old lady said as her eyes widened a little to show that she was now awake.

This little subtle change just showed that she was now interested in what she had to say.

"But I won't release you even if my pregnancy is confirmed to be a son. I will only let you go if my son is delivered, healthy and sound."

Himiko couldn't trust the one so easily because she also had an evil plan at the back of her mind.

Automatically, she would think the other also had some terrible plot in her head.
