Chapitre 112: Chapter 112 - Maou's Tower

"I was right to expect the worst, wasn't I?" Maou said to himself as he got up from his throne. Genta was still unconscious, yet the dark lord looked at her intensely. "Your friends just don't know when to give up, do they?" he asked rhetorically. "I suppose it is when I show them the difference in power between us that they will come to an understanding that what they are doing is uncalled for."

Then he walked down the stairs that led up to his throne to take a look outside. He looked downward from the window and could see the carcass of the Crimson Dragon, along with the apparent splattered, bloated parts of its upper body, making vibrant marks on the clear desert floor. Beside the body of the dead animal, he could see the intruders running by the side, about to get into the tower.

Knowing that it would only be a matter of time before they would be able to get into the tower, the dark lord looked back at Genta, who was still chained to his throne, unconscious.
