Kazuya was still comforting Orihime, who was still holding on to him dearly, as if afraid he would fall unconscious again if she let go of him. 

"You seem happy to see me," he said to her, "how long have I been away?" 

"Almost four days, I guess," she replied with residual tears in her eyes, "what gives?" 

"I'm sorry," Kazuya said to her. 

"No, it wasn't your fault," she said to him. 

"So, what did I miss?" he asked. 

It was at that moment that Orihime's mood changed from being tearfully happy to being soberly sad. She took a deep breath and replied, "A lot happened while you were gone."

Meanwhile, Kenpachi faced Shinju again, finding it difficult to just be happy that Kazuya had returned to them.
