Wu Kuang's breathing became chaotic as he snapped out of the fear which locked him in place.

His eyes dropped downward and toward his adopted father, who lay dead.

Memories flashed through his head about all the time they had together.

His heart shattered and tears started dripping down his cheeks and falling to the ground.

Grabbing his chest, he felt like throwing up.

All the fear which resided inside his body instantly disappeared.

His legs faintly shook as he felt his entire body almost give into the pressure of emotions that swarmed his entire limbic system.

"Boy, you must calm down."

Shang Yao spoke, her voice was emotionless, as she had no attachment to the old man. She didn't give a single shit about his death.

The only thing that worries her is the emotional state of Wu Kuang who is currently feeling every negative emotion that is known to mankind.
