Chapitre 112: The Glitch in the Universe

"You're my guest. Sit still. Mushroom soup, okay?" 

Ignos Fire looked at Chiaki with the expression of a lost child surrounded by adults. He couldn't take his eyes away from her, even when she had walked away. 

Chiaki could feel his eyes boring through her back, but it was without his temper. Seeing a person in a different light did put her overthinking brain into perspective. Judging Ignos from a different point of view, she felt pity towards him.

Ignos Fire was apparently not the homewrecker she had thought he was, but a lost child. Lance Hua had saved him at some point and brought him to the mansion to train, he gave Ignos his first job. Gleaning from how small he had reduced himself and his voice, this had happened many years ago when he was relatively much younger. Therefore, Ignos Fire might be younger or slightly older than her. It was difficult to ascertain without directly asking him.
