I woke up that morning with a sense of anticipation and excitement bubbling within me. It felt good to be back home, to be within familiar walls. Another reason why I was excited was because I would be seeing the twins again after what felt like eternity apart. The sun was shining brightly outside, casting a warm glow outside the windows as I stepped outside, feeling its rays kiss my skin.

Ivan had left earlier to attend to matters of the court with Kiran, but claimed he was going to join us later. Apparently, he had something special planned for us later in the day.

This morning, it was just me on the way to reunite with our children for now, and the thought of seeing them filled me with a mix of nervousness and joy. It had been far too long since I had last seen them, and the ache of missing them had only grown stronger with each passing day.
