LURINA POV
As I stood in my realm, the realization of being outsmarted by Nyana, the goddess of darkness, weighed heavily on me. Everything around me seemed to still, the usual hum of energy in my realm muted by the gravity of the situation. I could feel the tendrils of darkness creeping closer, threatening to consume all that I held dear.
The pain Arianne felt, a sharp, searing sensation that cut through the stillness of my realm, told me that something was terribly wrong. It was a feeling I had never experienced before, a deep ache that resonated within me, connecting me to her in a way that I had never thought possible.
I closed my eyes, trying to block out the overwhelming sense of dread that threatened to consume me. How had I not seen this coming? How had I allowed Nyana to outmaneuver us, to choose Arianne's son as her vessel without our knowledge?
