Chapitre 418: BROKEN AND HOPELESS

ARIANNE POV

I was taken to the dungeon in the same castle that had almost been destroyed. I was thrown into the dungeon and that was where I've been for the past four days. The days seem to drag by slowly, each passing moment a painful reminder of the void left behind after I had broken the bond with Ivan. The pain is a constant ache in my chest, a weight that weighs me down, making even the simplest task feels insurmountable. It feels as if I am losing my mind, consumed by the overwhelming sorrow that has taken hold of my heart.

I haven't spoken a word ever since that hellish day. Azar seemed to understand that I was in pain and needed to be alone, guess he wasn't a total jackass in the matter at all. The pain I felt was suffocating. It was hurtful, so hurtful I wanted to rip my own heart out just so that it would stop hurting, stop feeling.
