Chapitre 322: PLAY PRETEND

Something felt different, I could feel it. Was it the smell of smoke that hung heavily in the air or was it the way sweat clung to me like a second skin? Was it the metallic smell of blood that hung heavily in the air or was it the bodies that piled up around me, forming pillars from where I stood? It was hot! Too hot and I was wearing nothing but my undergarments which was covered in the blood!

Heart racing a little bit in fear, I whirled around but the only thing I could see was more pillars of dead body. The sky was a blood red color which was something that wasn't normal and sent alarm bells ringing in my head. It was probably the bracelets of damnation playing tricks on me. I needed to get out of this place, wherever it was. I needed to get out of here now!
