Scarlett frowned at him, "Ezra, the more we delay the more chances to catch him gets less. We have to give every detail police can acquire from me. I want Ricardo to get his punishment. So please, don't stop me from going tomorrow."

Ezra dropped himself on the couch, "I am not stopping you… I just felt you were not ready."

"Then believe me when I say," Scarlett sat on his lap, "I am ready to tell everything about Ricardo to the police and I want to help them in every way possible. I don't want to live in fear anymore. I want to get stronger, Ezra."

Scarlett dropped Ezra's phone on the couch. She attempted to stand up from his lap and go check on the kitchen. When suddenly Ezra stopped her. "Wait, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have made a decision without asking you before."

Scarlett sighs, "Ezra, I'm not angry at you. I'm just not feeling like having a conversation about this, okay?" She pecked his forehead before getting from his lap.
