Chapitre 2: CHAPTER 2

Blake sat like a king on the chair, his face devoid of any emotion. His stormy amber eyes morphed into pitch black staring dangerously at the helpless man in front of him with blood oozing out of his body.

"Do you think you can mess with me and won't get caught, Mr Dean?" He asked, his voice was as cold as his face.

Mr Dean cowered in fear, shaking his head negatively.

"Please spare me Mr Campbell, I am really sorry" he shivered with cold sweats breaking out of his body.

Blake was up in seconds, he stride towards the bloody Mr Dean and let out a humorous laugh, a laugh that sounded scary.

It revealed his anger and irritation.

He collected a pocket gun from one of his men cocking it straight into his head.

"Who sent you?" Blake asked while hitting him with the bottom of the gun.

Mr Dean fell on the floor but was held back in a kneeling position.

He shook his head in fear! There is no way he is mentioning a name to Blake Campbell.

If he does, his boss will come after his family. He'd prefer he face this alone than to involve innocent people who will lose their lives along the line.

"I ask you again Mr Dean, who sent you to steal my documents? Do not let me repeat this for the third time" Blake said, shooting his arm.

Mr Dean winced painfully holding the area he was shot.

He bowed his head not daring to look at the ruthless man in front of him.

"I.. I am sorry Mr Campbell, I can't tell you" he said in a whisper.

Blake boiled in rage, his pulse ramped up. He walked closer to him holding him up by his shirt.

Blake's jaw tightened, he fired another shot at him while choking him with how tight his hold is on him.

This time around, the gun was fired into Mr Dean's lower abdomen.

Blake hissed slamming him into the wall, he threw the gun away and punched him so hard.

He was about torturing him with a hot iron rod when his phone beeped. He growled in displeasure while taking out his phone only to see it was his father.

Blake stepped back with a dangerous aura emanating from his body.

With one last glance at Mr Dean, he stepped out to receive his phone call.

"What should we do with him?" One of his men asked.

Blake paused but never bothered to turn back, he clenched his hand in a fist.

" Kill him, he is useless anyways" with that he stormed out with the intention of finding the person behind this.

The business world has always been dangerous, for someone to dare him without thinking of the aftermath, the person must be renowned and strong.

This is going to be a bloodbath!

There was a thick tension in the Campbel

l's mansion the moment Blake arrived.

His father told him he needed to see him urgently and here he is, with so much lack of interest.

The maids ran past each other in fear of coming face to face with him, everyone wants to be as far away from him as they can for the safety of their lives and that of their families.

They all know he only thinks of himself, he doesn't care about any human and killing is something he does at his leisure time.

If he is that heartless to kill his own mother then, he will mercilessly slaughter anyone that gets in his way.

Everyone is at his mercy, they all worship the ground he walks on.

Blake entered the sitting room where his father was seated going through a magazine.

Blake has a sharp razor nose fixed to a broad, cold stoic emotionless face.

His hard gaze was grilled enough to scare a warm heart at a peek at him.

His sharp jaw moved boringly as he approached his father.

"Dad" he called in his usual way of greeting his father.

Blake sat down opposite him scrolling through his mobile looking uninterested in the conversation he's going to be engaged in.

"Are you never going to change Son?" Mr Campbell senior asked titling his head to Blake who pretended not to hear what he said.

Mr Campbell sighed, he wasn't expecting anything less from his Son.

Blake checked his watch impatiently, he dropped his phone to give his attention to his father.

"There is nothing wrong with the way I am Dad, why did you call me? I have things to do in the office" he said tapping his foot on the floor.

Mr Campbell cleared his throat, he brought out a file and handed it to his Son.

"You should take a look at this" he said nodding his head knowing fully well the reaction he will get from him.

Blake went through the papers with his shoulders tensing up, a deep frown appeared on his face.

His face snapped to his father with his eyes blazing so much anger, Blake flung the papers across the room and stood up.

"What is the meaning of this Dad? Why the hell will you sign this kind of stupid agreement? Did I ever tell you that I needed a wife?"

His screams echoed in the mansion that was as quiet as the graveyard a few minutes ago.

Mr Campbell already prepared himself for this kind of reaction, his gaze held his Son's unfazed expression.

He has read a lot of books of how marriage changes people, Mr Campbell is doing this for his Son with the thought that maybe he will change.

Maybe his Son will change from being cold hearted and ruthless. He wants the Son he gave birth to back and getting him settled down is the only way to achieve that.

"I am your father Son and I only want what's best for you" he tried to explain but was cut off by Blake's sinister laughter.

"And you think getting me married is the best way? You must be kidding to think that I will ever get married" Blake responded disdainfully.

The thought of women irritates him, he is not the kind of person that will want marriage! That has never been in his agenda.

"You can't disobey me Blake, her father already signed the agreement paper and you are getting married to her, nothing's changing that"

Mr Campbell replied daringly. Blake clenched his hand trying to control his temper.

If only this man in front of him is not his father, he'd be long gone.

If only you doesn't respect his father so much, he could have killed him without any thought.

His father knows there is no way he'd say no to him, as much as he is heartless, Blake love his father and sister so much.

"Please Son, I gave this a whole lot of thoughts before arriving at a conclusion.

Can you do this for me? This is the only favour I am going to ask you, trust me, I only want what's best for my Son"

Mr Campbell explained trying as much as he can to look pitiful.

Blake was beyond infuriated knowing that his father is using the love he has for him to his own advantage.

His knuckles turned white from the hard clench as he paced around the room.

Suddenly, he paused swiftly turning to Mr Campbell.

An evil glint became evident in his eyes with a smirk on his face as a thought appeared on his mind.

Blake walked up to his surprised Dad at his sudden change of mood.

He wants him to get married right? Then that's the exact thing he will do. He already has plans for his 'wife' to be.

He stopped in front of his father giving him a rare smile, a smile that has many meanings behind them.

"I will get married to her Dad, if that's what you want"

He said as his smile widened pretentiously.

"But inform her to be prepared for hell, I won't be that kind to her"
