Chapitre 2: Chapter 1
Surviving is all that matters now.
Alec's Pov
Laying here in the snow, made me think about a few things. Did my parents get away in time to cross the pack borders more to the east where his older brother pack it?
No rogue wolf would be brave enough to enter their lands unless they wanted a quick death so, sooner or later when my strength is recovered, I'll make my way there to see my family again. I will heal and begin my journey there.
With heavy breathing , slowly came ,with my eyes feeling heavy as I slowly shut my eyes, a pair of sneakers came in line of my sight but too weak and tired to fight, I had finally closed them but not forgetting the sudden warmth that surrounded me.
Five months later
It was no longer snowing but I don't know where I am. I haven't been able to transform back into a human since five months ago.
Someone moved me from where I had fallen unconscious and took me into this forest near the city. But why would they have a school so close to a forest is something I would never figure out since humans are weird creatures.
While I was hunting down my prey for my lunch my wolf suddenly spoke to me after five months and two weeks. " Ale stop hunting that stupid don't you smell that delicious scent coming from the school?" she said giggly .
"What do you mean Mari?" I ask furiously as she tried forcefully taking control of my body.
"HEY! STOP THAT YOU IDIOT! You have ghosted me for five freaking months and now decided to come back out of the blue just because of one scent? ARE YOU CRAZY?!" I ask angrily.
But my words fell on deaf ears, after she gain full control she sprinted out of the forest and into the backyard of the high school near the forest i was always staying away from, i kept distance from this place because i didn't want to scary the children there but i guess my wolf had other plans.
As I watch from the sidelines or more like from the back in her mind, I see all her movement come to a stop as she takes in a big sniff on a jacket laying next to the tree near the back gates. And what came out her mouth shocked me more than the growling of my stomach.
She howled in an excited tone.. "MATE!"
I was felt with the utmost disbelief since I lived in this forest for the last five months. I've only cared about surviving until I regained my full strength but having my wolf back and finding my mate in one day was just too much for me.
I tried regaining control over my body before Mari does something stupid but it was already too late.
She sat in front of our mate, the girl look amused at us , stretching her hand out she touch our fur like if it was the most delicate thing in the world, she patted her lap for us to lay there and Mari did, signing at how relaxing and warmth Mari and i was both feeling, was magnifying to me, as our mate hummed a formal tune but it was too distant to me.
As she petted my fur and hummed I was about to fall asleep when an annoying sound of a bell being rung which alerted me that my mate will soon have to leave but because i can't talk as she started to gather her things Mari started to whine loudly which was deemed annoying because i was never going to let her go but she still a minor and she needs her education to survive her world..
She smiled sadly at me and knees down to my level as said in a soft tone. " Hey hey don't cry, am gonna take you home later ok? Wait for me right here, I promise to be quick today, ok puppy?" She said sweetly.
Wagging my tail I sat there under the tree waiting for my mate to return.
3 hours later
As i laid on the soft grass getting irritated as every second goes by because I just want to be in my mates arms again. But she has school. I wanted to wander around the school as she was in class but what if she wanted to leave early and come back and not see me?
I couldn't risk taking that chance so I stayed at the same spot until I heard that annoying bell being rang again to dismiss the students.
Standing up broadly, I picked up the jacket she placed over me before she left and placing it up by my mouth.
And waited impatiently, as the door swayed open she came running into my direction happily. Watching her weirdly as she jumped up and down a few times before yelling " I GOT IN" with tears in her eyes. As she calmed down she hugged me and said happily.
" I got into the art school I always wanted to go to, since I was a mere child and I have two months to until they'll come to take me to get started there." with a happy sign she ended it with.
There were only two things I was feeling in this moment: admiration and pride in my mate's success. I licked her face as she wiped her tears away. Give me one last look, she said.
"Well pup my name is katey Williams and am going to be the world's best painter and photographer you ever met in this boring , but cruel world we live in today." After that she took me to her jeep and we rode the jeep with the blasting music she likes.
Her house was one of the best mansions i have ever seen as i was in awh, she quickly stepped out and opened the door for me while i was still daydream Mari was sleep so i had finally gotten back control over my body.
Katey opened the door for me and walked in after I had entered the mansion. I was mesmerized by the beautiful tiling of the floor and the historical two way stair in two different directions. Katey was walking ahead of me while grinning wickedly at something.
As I slowly trilled behind her, she slowly went down to drop her bags quietly and slowly got up. I watched as the scene unfolded in front of me, she tiptoed more into the kitchen where a big strapping man came into view. And then out of the blue she growls like a lion.
The man swayed away so quickly I thought he would have hit katey in the process but with his eyes widened so big , I knew she had scared him. As he placed down the wooden spoon on the counter he opened his arms to katey who jumped in it and said.
" I missed you big brother"
After a few scolding and me being brought up into the family, i was allowed to lived their but they seem to just think of me as a big dog, from what i could understand , katey brother Alex is a CEO of a big company and he hardly gets to stay home and he only had a few hours to be home today before he goes on a business trip for 7 more months, that mean katey would have been all alone in this big mansion all by herself if Mari hadn't found her. Lucky thing I am here now to keep her company and protect her from any harm.
Alex's and Katey decided to name me Snow since i was as white as snow as they describe it. Katey and Alex's went out to buy me a bed, food and other thing for me to kill time with until he would be back from his trip.
As he bid his little sister goodbye he begged me to keep her safe until he returned. As his car disappeared from our sight , Katey began to sob more than ever. Locking the front door behind her. She sat herself down in the living room while she cried her eyes out. I sat there feeling miserable as I could help her in the state I was in.
A thought came to my head suddenly bumping my nose into her forearm , she lifted her head enough that I could have gotten to lick her face. Lunging myself at her she was laying under me as I was on top of her licking her tears away. She giggled as I continued to lick her all over her face.
And soon after she was all better again. She tried giving me dog chow but I refused to eat that nonsense. Ignoring her calls I went to lay down in the living room to have a moment with my thoughts.
