"Pardon me but I am interested to know why did you do that. Why did you decide to live in anguish, but not fight for your love? I bet you would have won Charlotte's heart that time," Damien said. "That has a long story," Édouard said and lowered his eyes.

"You never let anyone of us find out, Édouard," Andrew spoke this time.

"Mathieu knew," Édouard answered and scrunched his brows. "He approached Charlotte after he found out she had caught my attention," he said and chuckled.

"Why did he do that?" Andrew was more shocked than Damien.
