At a quarter past one, most of the guests left. Heisuke and Hisaki sent them off, once again thanking them for their blessings.
The ones who remained in the hall were the Chisaka family, Mrs. Saeki and Mr. Hokama, and Old Mister and Old Madam Hokama. Kenji and the other members of the family also left, giving privacy to them to have a talk.
At the same time, Mari followed the Ikeda couple and Mayuka back to their home. Hisaki planned to meet her later tonight. They didn't have a chance to speak much during the ceremony.
All of them gathered in the couch area. The attendants filled up their drinks and brought up plates of cut fruits and bite-sized desserts. Everyone was obviously tired but joyful.
"Heisuke, Hisaki, come here," Old Mister Hokama suddenly beckoned at the newly-engaged couple. A smile softened his wrinkly face, "Your grandparents here want to tell you something."
Next to him, Old Madam Hokama also smiled.
