Chapitre 542: Portals

Surprised and perplexed, Kaizen watched the King's Sword being swallowed by the puddle of black and gray sludge.

Kaizen remembered seeing this same magic many times, on different occasions. For example, in the first attack on the Capital such portals helped the Witch transport her bizarre monsters. Later, these portals also made zombies appear, and most recently, Kaizen had sunk his feet into a portal like this.

"What is it?" Kaizen asked, his voice heavy with indignation. He reached out to try to reach the sword, but it was too late. It had completely disappeared into the portal.

The look of surprise and frustration washed over Kaizen's face as the portal disappeared as quickly as it had formed.

"Damn it!" Kaizen exclaimed, clenching his fists. "What happened to the King's Sword?" He inquired of Morgaroth, reaching out towards him and pulling him brutally to himself.
