Left with no option, Danzo used izanagi with Shisui's eye. Sasuke has already cut off his right hand and he only had time to remove seal on his eye, his right arm was still under seal. So he was left with only one option. He was extremely pissed, he obtained Shisui's mangekyou sharingan and has ability to cast most powerful genjutsu 'Kotoamatsukami'. But now he had to sacrifice that eye for his survival. He did not even get the chance to unlock the seal placed on his right arm. Although he wanted to kill Sasuke more than anything but decided to hide for now. He already lost Shisui's eye and doesn't have the confidence to face Sasuke. With his cowardly nature, he would never face a powerful opponent.
Suddenly a sword struck at the place where Danzo was hiding and Danzo's right arm was cut off once again. Danzo was surprised, it was as if the enemy already knew his next move. The face Danzo made was hilarious for Sasuke but Sasuke was in no mood to give Danzo even a slightest room to breathe, he knew Danzo's final move. Since he already lost Shisui's eye and the arm with ten Sharingan, and he cannot use ninjutsu with one arm either. Danzo would try to use the 'reverse four symbol seal' in attempt to take Sasuke down with him. But Sasuke was not going to give him a chance to do that.
SASUKE: "Like I said, die in suspense mo********er."
Sasuke again crushed Danzo's body as well as beheaded him. With that Danzo died with an expression of shock on his face. Next Sasuke used his mangekyou sharingan's ability to restore his body condition to the state before injury and opening the fourth gate. He used amaterasu to destroy Danzo's right arm and head as well as his body and then leave. He was not going to fight Orochimaru's minions near the root base.
By the time Sasuke came out of root base, Kabuto, fourth Hokage and third Kazekage where not very far from him. He lured them away from root base, near the border of leaf village far from civilians. Kabuto was confused by Sasuke's action. If Sasuke did not want to fight them, then why did he reveal his location, and if he was really planning to kill Danzo then why did he leave. Kabuto cannot believe that anyone can destroy root base and kill Danzo in such short time. Only possibility was he failed and was running away but there were no root ninja chasing him. Sasuke finally stopped, he was satisfied with the location for confrontation.
KABUTO: "So you finally decided to give up. Are you going to come willingly or force me to drag you?"
SASUKE: "You are Kabuto, right? You think you have the capability to back up your talk."
KABUTO:"What do you mean?"
SASUKE: "Danzo is dead, I burned his entire body to ashes, that arm Orochimaru made for him with Hashirama's cell with 10 sharingans embedded on it, I destroyed it too. You know the shadow clone I send to arena, the moment it was destroyed I started attacking Danzo and by the time you reach here I destroyed his entire root base. So tell me do you think you can face me with those two who can't even use more than 30 percent of their power."
Kabuto knew about Danzo's arm, he helped Orochimaru in making it. If what Sasuke said was true then they have greatly underestimated the capabilities of Sasuke. Even Orochimaru doesn't have the confidence to attack Danzo in his hideout and take him out. What he didn't know was that Sasuke spent years honing his skills. He trained genjutsu to the point where he can take down a jonin with in few seconds. He also mastered his fuinjutsu and surpass the likes of Jiraya, Orochimaru or third Hokage, he can be considered as the best fuinjutsu user alive. Since Kushina is training Karin and Naruto so those two will catch up with him in the future but at the moment he is the best. He can transform into anyone and as long as he absorbed some of their chakra, he can transform into them down to their chakra signature. It would be extremely difficult for a sensory ninja to tell them apart. He has infiltrated root base years ago, he was so familiar with it that he can make a map of root base. He also has been planting paper bomb at root base for weeks, so a long time preparation and planning was reason behind the fall of Danzo and root base.
KABUTO: "I admit that we greatly underestimated you, but you just finish fighting Danzo, and I have fourth Hokage with me so I will take my chances."
SASUKE: "I don't want to kill you Kabuto, you are just another victim of Danzo's schemes. So let me give you an advice, stop following Orochimaru. Instead of trying to find your identity through people like Danzo and Orochimaru, be independent from them and then try to find your true self. Orochimaru is going to end up just like Danzo and if you follow him then you also die with him."
Kabuto has been trying to find his place in the world. First it was through Nono Yakushi, whom he considered as his mother, after her death he lost his identity. He has been following Orochimaru since then. What Sasuke said baffled him, while he was contemplating Sasuke's word, third Kazekage and fourth Hokage attacked Sasuke, so he also join the fight.
While Sasuke engaged with Kabuto and two Kage, fight between leaf ninja and their opponents were getting more chaotic. Naruto and Rock Lee were fighting side by side, they were dealing with enemy ninja more efficiently than any other leaf jonin, Neji was also holding his own without much problem. Shikamaru wake up from his pretend sleep and join Sakura. Shino also join them, they cannot fight at the level of Naruto or Rock Lee so they act as support for them.
Gaara wanted to fight Sasuke but it turned out to be just a shadow clone, then he had to face Naruto and Rock Lee and he was at a disadvantageous position. His sand armor cannot withstand the rasengan and Rock Lee kicks were too much for him, he lost his mind due to anger and unleashed the one tailed beast in the arena.
Everybody stop fighting and look in the direction of tailed beast. It was like an unsaid agreement, everybody pulled back and regroup with their comrades. Leaf ninja were at one side, Sand and Sound ninja were on the other side. Although one tailed beast was the bijuu of sand village but Sand ninja knew that for him they were no different than leaf ninja. Bijuu would kill people without discrimination, so the best course of action for them was to retreat and let leaf ninja handle the bijuu. The more damage the leaf village sustain the more advantageous position they would be in.
