Because of that sound, my eyes immediately widened. "Entrante! What are they doing here?" mother exclaimed angrily as I noticed uncle's palm tightened as if he was keeping himself from being enraged. This is terrible! What are they doing here uninvited!?
"Looks like they want mayhem!" uncle exclaimed as the wind howled around us. "I have to hide Mino, they can't see him!" I exclaimed quickly as I approached Mino, who was clearly baffled by what was going on and the evident seriousness of the atmosphere.
"Come on! I'll explain later!" I grabbed his hand and was going to pull him away, but-
"So, he's your mate!" said a frigid voice who appeared to be approaching. The queen of Nordalez and Salizte appeared in front of us in less than a second. The kings of Berbantes, Calixtas, and Les Padas arrived with their speed a few seconds later. Entrante!
I couldn't stop tightening my fists because they seemed to be disrespecting us. Nobody invited them to be here!
"What are you doing here?" mother asked the bold ones that I couldn't consider as guests. "We're just welcoming the return of the fleeing princess," queen Marayca of Nordalez sarcastically replied, while her companions chuckled. I couldn't help but be furious of what she'd said.
"We have the right to meet his mate!" King Ozyrus of Berbantes exclaimed, and he gave Mino a cold glance; I could feel the coldness of his hand and how it trembled in terror.
"What right do you have to enter our kingdom? You appear to have no respect!" uncle exclaimed angrily. But they weren't even scared. "If you don't let us in, I'll set fire to your villagers," the king of Les Padas warned, blasting fire from his hand.
"ENTRANTE! I knew it! You are the one responsible for their disappearance! Don't include them with your wickedness!" mother yelled at them. Because of the heavy atmosphere, the air around us appeared to thin down.
Uncle may have power to manipulate air, but he can't use it to kill vampires because we don't rely on breathing. We merely breathe air because it is present, but we don't need it to survive, thus uncle can't use it to end their lives.
"Bring them back right now!" uncle's threatening words. "We will return them unscathed, but there is one condition," queen Elena of the kingdom of Salizte said, and my brow furrowed.
I can't handle their simultaneous stares at the man I was holding. I quickly strengthened my grip on him, sensing that they had no good intentions for Mino. Never ever dare to hurt him!
"We can't accept that an unknown prince will be the bloodline of the future goddess," queen Marayca's rapid assertion that I don't appear to like.
"We will guarantee to not harm anyone in your territory if-" the queen of Nordalez abruptly cut off what she was about to say to gaze and grin on the man I was holding.
"-he's going to duel with our sons!" my eyes immediately widened as she spoke. Even my uncle and mother appeared to have lost their balance, but I was more concerned about the shivering I felt in Mino's hand as he tried to hold back.
Entrante! I tightened my grip on him to let him know I was here and I would also not let something bad happen to him.
They are really challenging us. "We don't even know where that man came from! Is he really a royal because of his attire, or did you just dress him up?" the king of Berbantes asked, and I cast him a stern gaze.
"We will not let you be the sole one to decide because the future Goddess is at stake here!" king Arthur of Calixtas exclaimed.
Mino is incapable of fighting! He has no power! He will not survive the duel! He'll simply perish! What can we do, Goddess of the Moon? Please keep Mino away from the chaos. "Are you muted? Are you frightened that everyone will discover that the princess's mate, who is purportedly from the strongest family in this world, is weak?" I couldn't help but be irritated by what queen Marayca said.
I couldn't take their derision for us any longer. With my fiery gaze, I forcefully swung my hands, causing the ground where they stood to quake.
They must acknowledge us! Large flowers with sharp thorns on their mouths emerged from the ground as a result of my aggressive move with my free hand.
It immediately surrounded the unwelcomed quests! I noticed how they alerted themselves and unleashed their fangs as though ready to battle my ferocious plant.
I noticed how the toxic liquid dripped from the mouths of my blooms, burning the weeds it landed on.
"Stop it, Vreihya! Remember, they had the villagers!" Mino's remarks, whom had previously been quiet, caught me off guard. "They need to be taught a lesson! They absolutely making me mad!" I said forcefully, but he let go of my grip as if he had already discovered bravery.
I was going to say something when I became aware of a peculiar presence emanating from him. But it appears that I am the only one who notices it. The man behind me had a strange presence. My eyes quickly widened as I cast a glimpse at him.
White and blue light surrounded his body, which I appeared to be the one noticing. Is it only me who sees what's going on with him? I was going to say something, but I was plagued with fear. He is no longer Mino.
When he began to speak, the radiance from him became brighter, and I could no longer see his form in the light.
"Vreihya! Let him fight; I'll protect him," a woman's gentle but commanding voice emanated from his glowing body. I can't go wrong, I sense power emanating from the light, and I'm certain she's the one speaking.
My eyes widened as I stared at the light, still unable to comprehend it. Because of the strength of her power, my body trembled. I no longer know how to react to what is happening, I am still unable to think clearly because she is now in front of me, something I was not expecting.
"Be... Beloved Goddess?"
