Chapitre 151: A day of waiting

Zuri stared at where her master was just standing, a sense of helplessness rising in her heart. 

'Ah, she's gone again… with Lady Eliseline as well…' 

At this point, she was unsure whether or not it was her who was her lady's valet, or whether it was Lady Eliseline. With how much the latter accompanied her lady, it was a valid problem to bring up.

Compared to all the fear and suffering around her, Zuri's carefree frame of mind rather stood out. But Zuri couldn't help it. With how attached she was to the magical cloak her master had given her, its effects had become almost permanent in her mind even if she wasn't wearing it.

Her lady only shrugged and said that it happens. She took away the magical cloak and said that sooner or later, Zuri's emotions would become normal again.

'…Perhaps this is why my lady is always dragging Eliseline around?'

'…She'll bring me around when there's no more fighting to do.'
