Shiro took the car to Mercato Centrale. It was a traditional market that also sold various kinds of food inside. It was a very busy but unique place with restaurants, cafes, and street vendors. Most of the street vendors were selling leather products. There were bags, wallets, backpacks, pouches, and leather accessories.
The streets were packed with tourists and it was a hassle to find parking, but they finally did. Shiro heaved a sigh of relief when she got out of the car and waited for Elena to get out too. They walked together to Mercato Centrale.
She could have taken Elena to a fancy and expensive restaurant, on Elleard's dime, but she opted out of it because she thought doing so would cost them the opportunity to try to visit the places that tourists used to go.
