It was such a wonderful dinner, all things considered. Elena really appreciated the gesture that her husband showed her. It was the first time they ate in her room. The balcony was arranged to be an emergency dining room but the maids made it look very romantic.

Samantha asked the maids to light up some lanterns around them. From the balcony, they could see the sun was slowly setting in the west as they basked in the lights of the golden hour.

The table was filled with mouthwatering dishes, and suddenly Elena felt her appetite return. She didn't know that just being showered with affection by Elleard like this could easily make her feel better.

She didn't realize that she craved his approval and his affection and when he gave them to her, she was like a starving person given food to eat.

This made her heart filled with warmth and she felt very happy. She could almost even remove the image of the horrifying incident from the night before.
