"What the hell!?" Wolfe went over to his co-actor's side.
He was completely out cold. His nose was bleeding, perhaps completely busted.
Along with his several other broken bones from that impact.
Leon blinked and looked at his bloody fist.
He had never completely blacked out in a fit of rage like this since he was 18 years old.
"He's not waking up...." Wolfe said. "Go call an ambulance, you idiot!!!!"
Leon snapped out of it and called 911. He was still in a daze, not believing what he had just done.
What made him do that?
What's so infuriating about seeing Wolfe Fang with another man?
Jealousy?
But why would he be jealous? They both agreed to just sleep around.....
It's not like they were tied to each other just because of this contract and their sexual attraction.
He felt that..... If it was with a woman, he would not have reacted so badly.
But since it was with another man... It somehow struck a nerve with him.
Was it competitiveness, then? That he wanted to be the only man that Wolfe Fang was attracted to?
He just kept thinking about these things while carrying the nearly-lifeless body of the man he knocked out to an ambulance outside, handing him to the paramedics in a stretcher.
Wolfe was calling out his name this whole time, yelling at him and asking questions. But it was all a blur...
He promised himself never to hurt a civilian like that again. A civilian that did nothing wrong...
Besides bring up his insecurities.
And the last time he did that, the civilian was Mickey Xing.
Mickey Xing who was once innocent until a certain fight.
After that... Look at what he had become.
A voice inside Leon's ear cackled.
(You turned him into the monster he was today. )
Because he could not control his anger, because he only knows how to resolve things with his fist.
And when he does that without any inibitions, he himself becomes a monster with inhuman strength.
That was why he also learned to be a negotiator. He knows how dangerous he could be when he gets involved with physical fights.
He learned how to resolve it more peacefully, verbally.
But the moment he saw Wolfe Fang and Heath Aguer....
Peace suddenly did not become an option in his brain.
"LEON MO!!!!!!"
A mad and distraught Wolfe Fang grabbed him by the collar. He was dressed haphazardly with a coat and nothing else to cover the upper half of his body.
The whole crew and staff were watching them as Heath Aguer was sent out to stretcher.
"You explain everything right now before the police gets here! Right now!"
Leon blinked. "Explain? What do I have to explain---"
"Why and how the fuck you suddenly punched a 70 kilo man flying to a wall??? You could get in jail for this if Heath pressed charges against you, not to mention the theater fining you for repairs!"
"Why and how the fuck was he in your changing room then?" Leon retorted without thinking twice. "With him on top of you AND both of you naked!?"
"We were helping each other get out of the fucking harness on our waists!"
He showed him the harness. "Remember??? The scene where we jumped off a plane and where 'falling from the sky'?"
Leon does remember vaguely a scene like that. It was even praised by the critics for having the actors do such a dangerous stunt all for the art.
But he couldn't care about that now. "Why the two of you??? Why not a staff????"
"Because we do it all the time, Leon! That's just how actors are, we help our buddies out of wardrobe malfunctions!"
"Was it wardrobe malfunction that he's on top of you, then!?"
"Yes, it is!! The damn harness won't get off, so he had to yank it out and we tumbled down the floor!"
"Good excuses, Wolfe Fang!" Leon turned his back on him.
"Fine, call the cops on me. Get me fined. But don't think for a second that I'll be dumb enough to believe a word you say!"
He was walking out since everyone was watching them and they were making a scene. Leon needed desperately to escape, get a drink or a girl to calm his overheated head.
He can feel that he was still on the edge, his anger still not going down.
In fact, it rised up again with Wolfe Fang's explanation and his shouting.
So it was a misunderstanding all along. Leon knows he's telling the truth.
But because of this anger fit, he could nto accept that. He denied it out loud like an unreasonable, psycho boyfriend.
"It is a damn good excuse because it's the truth! What is wrong with you right now!?" Wolfe followed after him.
"You're acting all strange, you're not this dumb and impossible before---"
"Leave me alone." Leon just said coldly.
"What?" Wolfe's eyes bugged out in disbelief.
"I'm wrong, you're right. I'll take care of this mess. Just leave me alone."
He almost sound like he was begging again.
Wolfe grabbed his shoulder. "No, I'm not leaving until you tell me what was that---"
"Are you really this fucking idiotic, Wolfe Fang!?" He shouted straigh to his face.
"You saw me get a guy on a stretcher with just one punch! You want me to do the same to you!?"
"I'm already fighting the urge to pulverize you and every single person in that goddamn theater!!! So again. LEAVE. ME. ALONE!"
He pushed Wolfe to the ground.
"Argh! Seriously???" Wolfe grumbled, falling into the thick snow cushioning his fall.
Leon managed to control his strength this time, only strong enough to give him the message.
He really doesn't want him nearby right now. He needed space for his sake and Wolfe's sake too.
He did not look back for long and started to run. Running away like a coward.
"Leon Mo! Get back here!"
He ran and ran in the snowy streets. Eventually, he reached a familiar building.
It was the animal shelter. The one where he left Little John.
He went inside. Once he returned, the dog was back in his arms.
"From now on, you'll be my bodyguard against Wolfe Fang. Okay?" He told the furball in his arms.
"Arf! Arf!" Little John yapped in agreement.
He went to another hotel, one that allows pets for free, to sleep with nothing else but this dog.
And it did calm him down, enough to make him forget all the problems he will face tomorrow morning.
