Chapitre 145: A clean cut 2

The imperial palace, the eastern palace study.

Xiang Chao stood silently by the balcony and took in the sights below. There were only two tall buildings in the balance, both of which were situated at different ends of the palace and overlooked the city. 

One was the Emperor's study while the other was Crowm Prince's study. Both of which were located in palaces that were considered seats of power.

However, the one difference both places of power had was not only the size of the building but also in the areas they overlooked.

The Emperor's study overlooked the enter capital from various angles while the Crown prince's study only overlooked the eastern parts of the palace and kingdom.

Xiang Chao shivered and sidestepped as his attendant rushed to his side.

"Your royal highness, there was a fire at Duke Shenxiu's palace early this morning. The Eldest young master was caught in the fire and died".
