Erlong chuckled as she nodded :"I agree with that suggestion. Huo Wu also really wanted to fight Ali and settle the score with him. Her competitive nature wouldn't let her not have a wing against Ali."
Qin Ming :"*Nodding* Alright, sending Ali is the best option anyway. But Ali, I have a suggestion. Try to use your Majestic Purple Black Peony in this duel instead."
Dai Mubai :"*Confused* Why? Wouldn't him taking care of the battle quickly with his Divine Devil martial soul be better?"
Ali :"Hmm... No, Mr Qin has a good point."

"Who would've known boss Ali who always just rushes into battle without a second thought would be so observant and careful...?" Ma Hongjun spoke up everybody's mind before Ali rolled his eyes :"I do that so my opponents would let down their guards.
It may not seem much, but when you think that your opponent is just a simple minded battle maniac who just simply rushes into battle, you wouldn't make that much preparation. Only as much as to defend and dodge. So in a serious situation where a strong opponent suddenly shows up, I will have the upper hand instead since I have been playing them for a long time."
Dai Mubai, Oscar and Ma Hongjun who were standing next to each other were the most shocked of everyone. Oscar leaned towards Dai Mubai who stood between the two as he whispered to his two friends :"Is this the real boss Ali, or is there an imposter among us?" <Sus...>
Ali rolled his eyes at him :"Piss off, Oscar. Just because I'm a lot smarter than how I usually act isn't that surprising. And besides, being unhinged and insane is a lot more fun than caring about what other people think."
Qin Ming :"*Nodding* Ali got my point. Starting the duel with a soul master from the storm attack branch is a pretty common tactic, so we'll act reversely. Ali's Majestic Purple Black Peony has been developed towards the control branch, so he can also resist those from the storm attack branch."
Dai Mubai :"I see..."
Ali nodded at him before smirking at Ma Hongjun :"If I spend too much energy in this duel fighting Huo Wushuang and Huo Wu somehow, how about we send in Fatty after me? After all, he really likes to duel too, and since he has been training so hard, we can also check his results."
A huge smile formed on Ma Hongjun's face before he threw himself at Ali and hugged :"Thank you, boss Ali! You're the best boss ever!" Causing Ali to roll his eyes with a smile before pushing him away :"Alright, back off now. What is a boss going to do if he doesn't look after his underlings?"
Yu Xiaogang :"*Nodding* Your analysis is correct. Hence, tomorrow, we'll send Ali, Ma Hongjun, And Zhu Zhuqing. And if worse comes to worse, we'll send Mubai and Xiao San as well. But I have to remind you that even in the qualifying rounds, all teams may not use their full strength. You have to hide yours too. Rest early then."

The time for the duel against the Shrek school and Chi Huo (Blazing) school had arrived, and the two captains of each team were standing against each other in the arena.
While the members of the two teams cheered, Huo Wushuang smirked at Ali :"Brother Ali, we faced each other pretty quickly, huh?" And Ali smirked back :"Yeah, we did. And don't think that I'm going to go that much easier on you because you're my future brother-in-law, I'm still gonna beat your ass."
Huo Wushuang got serious as he got into a fighting stance :"I wouldn't wish for anything less." The announcer's voice came when they were both ready to fight :"Next, Chi Huo (Blazing) school VS Shrek school! Both teams sent their main forces in the first round, Huo Wushuang and Tang Ali! Start!"
The moment his voice fell, Huo Wushuang released his martial soul before rushing towards Ali who just stood there. When he reached him, he immediately threw a punch at Ali who blocked it with his forearm and backhanded his side before spinning in place and throwing an elbow.
Huo Wushuang dodged in the nick of time before trying to kick Ali. However, Ali moved quickly and kicked his leg which was letting him stand. The moment he got his leg kicked and fell to the ground, he didn't spare a moment before jumping back and getting up.
The moment he got on his feet, he rushed towards Ali again as they punched and dodged each other's attacks. When they punched at the same time, their fists met and stopped themselves.
However, Huo Wushuang's fist suddenly lit up on fire as fire came from his elbow, adding more force and power to his fist. Ali smirked as he applied more strength to his fist :"Nice idea, but it's still nowhere near enough."
When he applied even more strength, Huo Wushuang was forced back several steps before stopping just to see Ali release his Majestic Purple Black Peony and his Century millennium soul rings.
Ali raised his hand before purple black vines grew from under his feet and flew towards Huo Wushuang. But surprisingly, he smirked before rushing straight at Ali :"It's useless to me!"
His fist was lit up in flames again before he punched one of the vines. Normally, fire and ice attacks wouldn't have any effects on Ali, however, the purple black vines that Huo Wushuang punched actually exploded.
Ali was a little surprised, but he still attacked Huo Wushuang with the other purple black vines, forcing him to retreat and jump around. He (Ali) smirked in amusement and interest :'I see. Pretty smart, brother Wushuang.
Because of my ultimate fire and Ice, no fire and ice can harm or affect me, but that is in special cases. For example, being set up on fire or frozen by ice won't do anything to me, but explosions and ice constructs can still hurt me.
Basically, elemental attacks, like ice breath or fire breath and such, won't do anything to me, but physical attacks, such explosions and ice constructs like ice needles and such, can still harm me and my martial soul.
Brother Wushuang can compress and condense his soul power to create explosions with his fire. Pretty smart to have figured that out, I'll give you that. But so what? Even with that, I never said that my purple black vines are indestructible. Unless I do somethings~.'
Huo Wushuang jumped into the air before his first soul ring was activated and blazing hot deep red scales covered his body like a layer of armor and then he descended towards Ali :"I told you that your ultimate fire is useless against me!"
"Is it now?" Just as Huo Wushuang was about to reach him, purple black vines grew from the ground and immediately tied around him, stopping him in his tracks.
Huo Wushuang smirked and used the same method to explode his soul power and fire to get rid of the purple black vines, but he was shocked when nothing happened to them :"W-what?!"
Ali chuckled as he shrugged :"I'll admit that your method is pretty clever, but just being clever won't make up for the huge gap in our strengths. The only reason why you were able to shatter that purple black vine was because I wasn't using their full strength so we can have a good fight.
However, since I underestimated you, I decided to not just use their full strength, but also use my ultimate fire on them as an apology to you for underestimating you. So, have fun fighting now!"
Cold sweat ran down Huo Wushuang's back when he saw Ali's friendly smile before a purple black vine grew from the ground and hit in the guts in whip like manner, causing him to fly into the sky before another purple black vine grabbed his leg and slammed him to the ground.
Huo Wushuang tried to fight back as the purple black vines just kept on slamming into him, throwing him around, whipping him and slamming him to the ground like a toy, but he couldn't do anything.
He had gotten hopeful when he saw that he could destroy Ali's purple black vines, but he couldn't even put a scratch on them now. In the end, he was tied to the ground by the purple black vines while Ali walked towards him.
He tried to make his soul power and flames explode like before to see if he could shatter the purple black vines, but just like before, he couldn't even see a scratch on the purple black vines that seemed to have red scales on them.
Ali smiled down at him as he raised an eyebrow :"So, you planning on giving up or what?" Huo Wushuang tried to just use his physical strength to get out of his binding, but he could hardly move an inch.
Seeing that his efforts are meaningless, he let his head fall on the ground with a sigh :"Fine, I lose. Hahahaha, you're a real monster, brother Ali. I could hardly fight back."
Ali chuckled as he extended his hand towards him after making the purple black vines disappear and took back his Majestic Purple Black Peony. Huo Wushuang smiled helplessly before he grabbed his hand and let him raise him to his feet.
Huo Wushuang patted him on the shoulder with a smile :"Even though I lost, I'm still thankful that you used at least some of your strength. It was fun, and I will work hard to reach your level in the future."
Ali chuckled as he nodded :"Good game, brother Wushuang. By the way, look down for a moment." Huo Wushuang was confused, but when he looked down, he saw that he was already out of the field while Ali was standing inside.
He chuckled helplessly as he looked back at Ali and sighed :"I see, so I had lost from a while ago, huh?" And Ali nodded before patting him on the shoulder :"Yeah, but I wanted you to admit defeat on your own rather than losing because of being thrown outside of the arena. That would be kinda disappointing."
Huo Wushuang nodded as the announcer announced :"First round, Shrek school wins!" Before Huo Wu's voice was heard :"Brother!" When the two looked, they saw Huo Wu rushing towards them before she started checking Huo Wushuang's body for any serious injuries :"Brother, are you okay? Ali, why were you so ruthless on my brother?! Look how many wounds he has!"
The boys chuckled before Huo Wushuang gently pushed her hands away :"It's alright, sis. These are only light injuries which will heal in a day at most. Brother Ali was careful not to deliver any bad injuries. Thank you, brother Ali."
