Ever since Ali had gotten the Majesty's Crown, he has kept himself busy with it. He believes in "if you're doing something out of your own want, then do it the best you can", so once he decided that he will show off in this tournament, he will make sure that it will go down in history.
That's why in this nearly half a year, he hasn't missed a single day in creating soul rings. But not just for his lovers, for himself as well.
After all, the sole reason for why a twin martial souls master shouldn't put a soul ring on his second martial soul is because of wanting to increase his limit as much as possible.
So for Ali who not only doesn't have a limit, but actually has that limit increased with each soul ring, wouldn't it be stupid to not add soul rings to his other martial souls?
After all, he doesn't even need to go and hunt for a soul ring now, he can just make it himself. So it would be a waste to not get more soul rings.
And that's why, he actually made soul rings for himself first. The reason for that is that, he found out the limit of the increase in the soul rings of Erlong and others is the same of his own.
Meaning if his soul rings were 180'000 years, then he wouldn't be able to make theirs any higher. If he could, he would have kept stacking on their soul rings' age till they would reach 1'000'000 years, wouldn't he?
That's why, he decided to increase the soul ring age of his own before increasing theirs. So, now, a simple math problem.
Each soul ring adds a 20'000 year to his soul ring age limit. He can have 5 rings for each of his martial souls, meaning 100'000 years.
Now, he has 4 martial souls. That's right <it goes in the square hole lol!>, his soul ring age limit is now, a whooping 400'000 years with each of his soul rings being 400'000 years!
So after getting his soul ring age to the maximum, he started to make soul rings for his lovers.
The century millennium soul ring really is the most precious treasure in heaven and earth, after getting them, even though the girl's soul power level didn't increase, their soul skills seriously became a lot stronger.
And since their soul rings actually became 400'000 year ones, the soul skills were even more powerful.
But the one with the biggest benefits, was definitely Zhuqing. How much her soul skills became stronger surprised Ali, Erlong and Yuehua to no end.
Seriously, her first soul ring, actually got stronger twice for each digit that was added to the soul ring, and then the increase became double for each 100'000 years!
At first, while her soul ring was only 100 years, her speed would be doubled. When her soul ring was 1'000 years, she would get 4 times the speed!
8 times at 10'000 years, 16 times at 100'000 years, 32 times at 200'000 years, 64 times at 300'000 years, and 128 times the speed at 400'000 years!
Seriously, even Ali was fucking shocked with her luck! He had a feeling that her first soul ring would get really strong after the increase, but damn did he not expect THAT much increase!
Even though the increase was only in speed, Ali knew just how terrifying this soul skill had become. After all, speed is known to be invincible.
Enemy is stronger? Then just don't get hit. Enemy has a tough defense? Hit him till his defense breaks.
Who is going to defeat you when they can't even see you? Forget about killing you, they won't even be able to hit you.
Now, even Ali wasn't that confident in beating her unless he went full on combo against her, using everything he has.
After all, he also has his Demonic Boost fifth soul skill. As long as he can drag the fight long enough, he can eventually win the fight.
But that's exactly where the problem is. Zhuqing's style is not giving the opponent any chance and using every bit of opportunity she has.
That's why, there was no way that she would give him a chance to drag the fight, specially since she knows about his 5th soul ring.
But well, with how much trust he has in her, he didn't bother to make a plan against her. I bet a certain guy in a bat costume would be disappointed.
But well, a strategy that would come to anybody's brain came to his as well. He could just wrap himself in his purple black vines and use the Invincibility soul skill, and then drag the fight till he is fast enough to defeat her.
And well, there is another way. It's to not let her use the soul skill to begin with. How is that possible? Well, to begin with, the increase is a foreign energy.
Basically, it's like having a computer plugged in, which is basically Zhuqing's original soul ring, and having a batter with it as well, which is the soul ring that Ali has given her.
This battery just doesn't run out of energy and will always be the same. But after a little fooling around, Ali found out that he can actually deactivate this "battery", making her soul ring return to the original appearance, causing its power to return to its original state as well.
Ali really liked this feature, since if he decided to one day bestow a soul ring upon someone else and that person got ballsy and tries to go against him, he could just deactivate all of his soul rings.
After all, he was the saint son. And if he ever wanted to make the Martial Soul Hall stronger, he could just bestow soul rings with peace in heart.
Anyway, back to the story. As Ali stomped his foot on the ground, purple black vines rose and flew towards the Elephant Armoured team.
Since the Elephant Armoured team was focused on defence and power, they were confident in their abilities and we're stupid enough to not dodge.
They couldn't dodge anyway since they weren't fast enough to. So once the purple black vines reached them, they wrapped around them and chained them in place.
But being focused on defence and power, they were actually able to still force their way forward, even though the purple black vines still were tied around them.
Tang San who was in the audience in the special place of Shrek went wide eyed :"with that much power, I estimate that my blue silver plant would have immediately been shattered..."
Yu Xiaogang who was sitting on a chair with Yu Chang in his arm nodded with a serious face :"the Elephant Armoured clan focuses on defence, that's why even though your blue silver plant is tough, it wouldn't have been able to keep them at bay."
Ning Rongrong gasped as she covered her mouth with her hand :"brother San's blue silver plant is really tough, how could it not stand a chance against them..."
But Ali on the platform smirked as he raised his hand up at the Elephant Armoured team :"you think you can be oh so arrogant when I'm here?
Little gahbalar, my martial soul isn't just the king of emperor of the plant martial souls, it's the Majesty of the plant empire! First soul skill, Invincibility! Second soul skill, Vampiric!"
The purple black vines that were tied around the Elephant Armoured team members suddenly took on a shade of gray as the red in them brightened.
The moment Ali's first and second soul ring flashed, the movement of the Elephant Armoured team members stopped completely as they stuck in place.
And no matter how much they moved and thrashed around, they couldn't get out of the chain like purple black vines that held them in place.
"Brother! My soul power is being rapidly drained! I can't even budge these vines!" One of the members yelled as he thrashed around with no results.
But the moment the captain, Hu Yanli wanted to say something, Ali's roar came :"Zhuqing, do it! Show them your speed!"
Hearing Ali's command, Zhuqing didn't hesitate any longer and activated her first soul skill.
As the "Chaos" word on her forehead flashed, her first soul skill also flashed a demonic red before everything in her vision stopped completely!
Since she was focused on speed, her speed was already over the top. But after getting a whooping increase of 128 times, she was fast enough for the world around her to slow down to a complete stop in her perception.
If you want a reference to imagine it, just think about Retro Man or Flash at some scenes and you will get it.
Now, I'm not saying that she's the fastest being in Douluo Dalu since high level titled douluos are still faster than her, but she is still very fast.
And I'm not saying that she's slow, but come on, titled douluos are just a level under the gods, who are capable of moving in the universe in who knows what speed.
Titled douluos are able to move at the speed of light or even faster if they want to, so just Zhuqing being able to be put in the same rank as those is a great achievements.
Seriously, titled douluos can move at the speed of light or even faster, but in the anime, Tang Hidden weapons hit them , so stupid.
Anyways, right now, Zhuqing speed was at the point where not even the titled douluos present, Erlong, Yuehua and Bone douluo couldn't see her.
Don't misunderstand, it's not because they aren't fast. Time hasn't stopped, Zhuqing has just gotten a shit load faster, and they haven't been able to react yet.
Think of the speedsters, are they always on the "world has stopped around them" state? No, life would be really boring if that was true.
This is just like that, they just haven't used their own speeds, that's why they are also in the "stopped" state in Zhuqing's eyes.
As Zhuqing soul skill got activated, she smirked as she looked at the stone like world around her.
As she looked at the frozen world, she smiled gently and lovingly at Ali beside her :'not like anybody can see me anyway.'
And she took a step towards him and kissed his cheek with a loving smile on her gorgeous face :'I have all of this because of you, Ali, you don't know how thankful I am for all of this power.'
After just looking at Ali's face for a few moments, she turned around and looked seriously at the opponents :'hmm, I can just get this over with and finish the match, but Ali told me to show off my strength in this tournament.
Since he's the one who has asked it, then no way am I going to day no. Let's just hit them for a little while.'
As she thought, she started walking towards the captain of the team before stopping in front of his chained form.
She took a punching stance in front of him as her 5th soul ring flashed slightly and her hand began to glow a menacing black and purple light.
After a moment of charging, which seemed to have caused her hand to glow a brighter color, she punched the crystal like shield connected to his arm!
And the moment her fist connected with the crystal clear shield, she stopped using her first soul ring, causing the world to flow like normal once again.
But the moment the flow of time returned to normal in her eyes, Hu Yanli was shot a few meters away before he got what happened and fell on the ground.
Everybody but Ali and her sister wives went wide eyes at the scene as the announcer girl yelled into the microphone :"w-what just happened?! Zhu Zhuqing was there just now, but she is suddenly here punching Hu Yanli!"
