Chapitre 4: Under Surveillance Again!?
In a space filled with darkness, two figures sat opposite to one another. In this odd space, which seemed like a void, not a single soul or entity could be seen except them.
It was hard to tell what they were talking about except the fact one of them had a clear expression of dissatisfaction printed on his face, while the other person also looked slightly disappointed.
"Haah... younger generation... always so immature... keep an eye on him or else he might try to bite more than he can chew."
The first person told the latter his thoughts, while the said person nodded in replied. The conversation died back down as if they both were thinking of something and weren't sure on what to do.
They stayed silent, lost in their thoughts, he latter who hadn't open his mouth until now, finally decided to finally speak, and reveal a matter which piqued the interest of the other guy.
"He has shown interest to meet him." That's all he had to say before vanishing from the void space, using a crimson magic cirlce, leaving him all alone.
"I just hope I didn't make a mistake today." The space started to crumble as soon as he finish his words, the void started to tear apart in peaces and in that moment a magic circle formed, making it truly empty space, without any entity.
Somewhere in a balacony of a certain apartment, a figure wearing bath robe was standing in his balacony, enjoying the chill night winds on his face with a glass full of liquor in his hands.
He looked deep in thought, judging by the expression on his face but occasionally he played around with his glass not before taking a sip of the liquid inside.
"I wonder why he came so early and not to mention, to accompany a kid, though I felt something strange, but I can't tell what it is." He let a small chuckle before heading back inside, closing the windows of his apartment.
Back in Kuoh Academy, a certain kid with black hair was sitting in the grass, watching a game of tennis. He looked extremely happy but pretty worn out. It looked as if he hadn't got a chance to catch any sleep last night and could fall asleep at any moment.
As the figure was watching the game while trying not to fall asleep, a student wearing the uniform of the Academy approached him. She was one of the infamous figure of the campus, well known for her beauty.
"Ara~Ara~ Looks like someone was pretty busy last night, mind sharing the details." She also had the same hair colour as the boy, she was ranked second in beauty, Akeno.
"Hmm!? Sorry I was paying attention." Her smooth voice ringed in Ryuu's ear, snapping back his attention. He almost fell asleep while watching the game.
"To think you would ignore me, I am hurt." Ryuu is really wondering why Akeno is approaching him, but at the same time it kind of feels nice to talk to her, who wouldn't mind the company of a beauty.
"My bad, I was just stunned by your beauty to pay any attention." He decided to play along with her, what harm could it bring. He wanted to get on her good side in the near future anyways.
"No need to jest, though I wonder if you would like to accompany me, someone wants to talk to you." She let out a small life before her true intentions, she came to get him on the orders of her king, Rias.
"How can I say no to you? Lead the way miss." Ryuu got up and followed behind Akeno who had a smile on her face. He tried not to focus what's in front of him, but it captured his attention nevertheless.
The jiggling bottom, hidden behind a short skirt, moved with her every step. He really wondered, how would it feel to grab them. Regardless of his thoughts, he wasn't stupid enough to follow through them.
After a short walk, and struggle to keep his mind clean of dirty thoughts, they both finally reached the Occult Research Club and entred after getting the permission from the person inside.
He was met with the familiar place, though this time the president wasn't sitting on her usual chair, but instead relaxing on the couch. The room of desolated, making them her the only member present.
"Take a seat." Rias gestured him to sit, while Akeno left his side and started to pour both of them tea and stood behind Rias afterwards. Rias looked at Ryuu straight in the eyes before dropping the news.
"One of our club members would stay with you from now on. You can pick whoever you want, it doesn't make a difference to me."
It was as broad as daylight for him to understand the reason of this decision. They wanted to keep him in check, as he is going to be receiving the king piece soon, atleast that's what Ajuka promised him.
He can't complain to this, neither he has the power to go against this decision, in the very least, he could decide his room partner.
Even though it might seem like a loosing deal, but for him, it was a good opportunity to get closer to Rias. She wasn't emotionally stable during the Riser arc in the anime, if he plays his cards right, he could make her see him in a different light than before.
"Then why not go with the president, I would love to share my apartment with you." He gave a short smile to Rias while saying his answer, which was something that didn't both her and she nodded in agreement.
"So it's decided, wait for me after the school is over... never mind, you look pretty tired. If you want to rest, then feel free to. I will inform your class." She glanced behind Akeno, who walked out after nodding.
"I will gladly take you up on that offer... and also... umm... thanks." He immediately lied down on the couch, not daring to face her. He can't exactly remember, when was the last time he thanked someone.
Although saying thanks to someone should have been normal, but for him it felt weird, awkward would be correct. In his previous life, as far he can remember, he can only remember apologizing for his mistakes.
A genuine smile formed on her face, way different from the pleasentary one she had uptil now, making her face bloom. If Ryuu would have seen this, he definitely would have fell for her again.
Somewhere in heavens, a meeting was being held, in which four people were participating. They all had an divine glow around them, if a mortal saw them, he would definitely start to bow down to them.
Apart the divinity, the atmosphere here wasn't divine at all as they all were discussing some important matters. They were sitting on four chairs, seperated by a round table in the middle.
There were only two things on the round table, which seemed to be the topic of discussion. They both seemed like holograms of a person but more realistic. It wasn't clear what was being reflected in the image but it definitely seemed of great importance.
"I would meet them soon, I would like you to keep an eye out for them, especially the other one."
The voice one of the angel vibrated in the room, breaking the silence. Everyone nodded to his words, still deep in thoughts about this abnormal situation.
Somewhere in the Kuoh Academy, a boy was lying on the couch when he felt a warm feeling over his body which he found really pleasurable. He slowly opened his eyes to see a pair green eyes staring into his own.
The latter jumped back in fright from his sudden stare, while letting out an adorable voice. It came to him a moment after, he was currently resting in the club room used by Rias and her peerage for meeting.
He looked around everyone sitting around, except Kiba and Koneko. They are probably out completing their contract or something else. He was beside Asia, who was healing him just a moment ago? And Akeno and Rias were relaxing.
"You slept for quite a while, I asked Asia to use her healing magic on you. Your body had some how bathed in a lot of demonic aura, which could have been dangerous."
Rias calmly explained him that he might have passed away in sleep. He was lucky that Asia had twilight healing and helped him out. It totally escaped his mind in the joy of getting the desriable outcome in his deal with Ajuka that he was being pressurized by their auras during the negotiations.
"Ready to leave?" Rias questioned, clearly getting impatient. He guessed he had been down for quite a while and she was waiting all this time. He clearly didn't want to make her wait any longer so nodded back.
They left the club house, while the others also set off to complete their contracts. He didn't notice until now, but it's already is dark outside. The night sky was beautiful as always, not something that he got the chance to appreciate in his previous life.
He was walking with a beautiful girl side by side, although they weren't holding hands. This was something he wished for in his previous life but couldn't get it done, like ever. The closest being, he walked with his cousin.
The usual walk which was generaly boring, now turned into something fun and ejoyable, a kind of development he wasn't used to yet.
He turned to look over her right and saw that she wasn't paying much attention to him, she seemed pre-occupied with something. He can't guess what it is, and it's not like he can ask her.
He might be bold when he is serious but when it comes to girls, he has a hard time getting the words out. This was something which caused him to be single in his previous life.
They walked for couple of more minutes before they reached his apartment. He took out the keys and got inside while letting her follow behind him.
He showed her the way to living room and left instantly to cook. He could have talked with her but he sucks at initiating a private conversation so he decided otherwise.
After half an hour at maximum, a appetizing meal was cooked, which they both enjoyed before the talks came to sleeping arrangements.
This was something, he forgot, his apartment only has a single bedroom so naturally it has only one bed, although it is a double bed.
"The house has only a single bedroom... I believe you might have to share it with me today." He was wondering how she would react, would she deny, or get mad?
"I don't see where the problem is? I am tired so lead me." It was contray to his expectations so he stood there for a moment before regaining his wits and showed her the way. He left the room after she got inside, to get freshed, before sleeping.
As soon as he stepped in the bathroom, a magical circle popped up in front of him. A figure walked out of it, carrying a box, who he recorganized to be one of the Satan, Ajuka.
"In here are all the evil pieces including the King piece. Normally a ceremony would be required, but since you would be using the king piece to bind it to your soul, it wouldn't be necessary anymore."
Ajuka passed him the set of evil pieces while explaining it to him. He naturally knew about it from anime, about that pillsr and stuff. He was pretty hyped to see his strength soar through the skies but the next words cut his dreams short.
"Once you take this king piece, your strength will increase tremendously and reincarnate you as a devil. A human who just turned into devil would be a Low-class one, but because of this piece you would directly become a High-class devil, same as Rias and Sona from your school."
He wasn't too disappointed with his strength, he was more than happy if he could match their strength, in the near future, he might be able to become a Ultimate-class or even higher but that would take a long time, maybe a century or even more.
"A advice from me, although you are a high-class devil now, you don't stand a chance at all neither against Rias or Sona nor against their queens as you only have demonic power, neither a sacred gear nor any special power from the 72 pillars. Also just place the piece next to your heart for it work, ask Rias or Sona for more details. Finally, I hope, you won't act rashly in the future and let the power get into your head."
He disappeared in thin air, just like he appeared, leaving those words behind. He wondered what he meant by those words, "Was he worried that he won't be able to keep me under his control or something?" He thought this inwardly, but didn't ponder on it too much as he was interested about something else right now.

Let's talk about important business, if you think the character is naive, judging by how he deals with the Satans, then you are 100% correct.
Ryuu, my fictional character is in the end is a kid, a high schooler who is 17 years old. I wanted to be immature with his attempts at things, it would have been boring to make him perfect from start. Their would be growth, it might be slow, but would be there, so bear with me please.
If you found any plot holes in the story, comment it, I would love to check it out and make sure that things don't end up without making any sense.
Also this character was getting too long, so I dropped the topic of evil pieces, it would be explained in detail in the next chapter, atleast that's my plan for now.
