Davi told them his plan. Ivo listened to him with apprehension.
"Ok, but you can't go," he said, "They'll recognise you."
Alina also looked unsure. "That's true for all of us. I mean, our friends from the gate haven't showed up yet. And maybe they won't. But what if they're at the school now? They'll definitely say something if we just show up. That's asking too much."
"It's true," Thiago interjected, "it would be a big risk for any of us to show up there. Pretending we're interested in taking a few kids off their hands for the organ trade market might be a hard sell."
"We have to do something," Davi insisted, his full lips narrowed into a severe scowl. "It's either that or accept that kids from the community can end up dead when we storm the school."
Ivo remained silent while toying with the thin metal bracelet around his wrist. He was contemplating Vice's offer of help.
Ivo: don't be mad at me just because i'm ready to risk it all and walk into the line of fire to save the day and be a hero
Davi: i don't think you're doing this for the right reasons
Ivo: okay, i'm doing it for you then
Davi: still not the right reason
